The next day after each fight was always my relaxation day. My body was sore and my head and face equally ached from the punches and the booze of celebration. I glanced at my phone when it buzzed and a grin appeared on my face from the missed messages that I had received.

Coach Broff
Good job kid, relax today so we can go for a belt next, you'll be champ in no time if you keep this up.

I sent back a thanks before moving to the next text.

Jaxon
Hope you're feeling okay today, call me when you wake up if you want to hang out!

Stretching my arms over my head, I decided to shower and change first before calling Jaxon, hanging out with him was definitely something I wanted to do and even though I was nervous about getting to know someone possibly more than a friend my mind was made up. I was tired of having Kendall looming over my head like the black plague. That was definitely the best way to describe him, a disgusting plague.

The heat of the water cascading on my face and body drowned out the thoughts in my head and I relished in the steam of the shower. After drying off, straightening my hair, and throwing on a pair of jeans and my bomber jacket over a grey top, I dialed Jaxon's number and stifled a laugh when he picked up after the first ring.

"Hey! I was hoping you'd call!"

"Well you answered with it only ringing once so I hope you weren't waiting too long." I snickered as I could sense Jaxon's nervousness through the phone as he cleared his throat quickly.

"Well, how are you feeling?" The concern in his voice caused my heart to flutter and a sheepish grin appeared.

"I'm fine, just a little sore but that's usual." Jaxon murmured in understanding.

"So, would you be interested in a movie day?" He said. "We could hang out at my place and watch a movie, eat some popcorn or pizza or whatever you want! You deserve to splurge a little after last night!"

I couldn't agree more, last night was a well fought victory and I was ready for the next challenge. "That sounds great Jaxon, send me your address and I'll come by in about 30 minutes?"

We said our goodbyes and I knocked on Bekah's door, opening it after some noise was made. A loud ground escaped from underneath a bundle of blankets on the bed when I flicked on the lights and clapped my hands together.

"Hm, why does it sound like a dying animal in here? I wonder where Bekah is?" I tapped a finger on my chin, speaking louder than I normally would.

"What do you want Quinn?" A muffled voice sounded from the pile and I grinned, walking closer towards her.

"Had a rough night last night?"

Bekah ripped the sheets from over her head and glared at me. Her hair was sticking up in several places and I swore I could see a drool stain on her cheek.

"What. Do. You. Want." I snickered, knowing that Rebekah was hungover and when she was like this, it was best to just leave the beast alone, throw it some scraps of food occasionally.

"I need you to drive me somewhere! Pretty please!"

Bekah reached onto her nightstand, gripped her keys in her hand, and chucked them at me. If I didn't know any better, I'd think she was trying to kill me

"Drive yourself. Go away. Turn off the light." Bekah disappeared underneath the covers while I walked out of the room, shutting the light off along the way and heading towards Jaxon's house.
