First off! Sorry for the delay in chapters, things have just been crazy busy for me and I haven't had a lot of time. Hopefully though, things will start producing faster now so we can get this book to the ending!
~Enjoy!
Quinn POV
After Jaxon left there was nothing to keep me upright. My knees buckled and I sobbed into my hands, kneeling in the middle of the living room floor. Jaxon had left and everything that was happening was all my fault.
No, not mine.
Kendall's.With the resolve left in me, I dried my tears and made my way up into my room to shower and figure out a way to get rid of Kendall from my life. There was no way I was going to let him hold anything over my head and control my life like he had done before.
Pushing open the door to my room I paused and glanced at the figure lounging across my bed.
"What do you want Kendall?"
I flicked on the lights and he looked up at me, a mischievous smile planted across his face.
"You did really well babe, I think he actually believed that you were upset with breaking up with him." He exclaimed, taking strides towards me.
"That's because I was upset." I cried out, slapping his hand away as he reached out towards my face only from him to catch my wrist and slam me back into the wall.
"You don't have to pretend with me, I know you're happy to be back and we can restart our lives together." I scoffed at Kendall's words, he won't believe anything except himself.
I wrenched my wrist free from his grasp and placed both hands on his chest, giving him a hard shove away from me. "You are a manipulative arrogant demented asshole. I don't want you in my life so leave before I figure out a way to get rid of you for good!"
Kendall just laughed at my outburst, pulling me back to him once more. "I'll just take that as a compliment sweetheart, you know how I love your feisty side."
Before Kendall could do anything else, Bekah came bursting through my room with a giant smile on her face before it faltered, looking between Kendall and I.
I pushed Kendall away and crossed my arms. "What's up Bekah?"
"I uh-" She paused, glancing at Kendall again before continuing. "We got invited to a party tonight, was wondering if you wanted to come hang out."
Kendall threw an arm around my shoulders and I grimaced, glancing at Bekah who stared at us with narrowed eyes. "We'd love to go, right babe?"
Bekah crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at me and I squirmed out from underneath Kendall's arm, grabbing Bekah by the wrist and tugging her out of the room, slamming the door behind me.
"Who the hell is that and what happened to Jaxon?" Bekah blurted out as soon as we made it into her room.
"His name is Kendall and Jaxon and I broke up." I sighed as Bekah gasped slightly. "But, you guys are like, so cute together. What happened? Do I need to cut off his balls? I like him more than Kendall though."
"Me too." I muttered under my breath but Bekah caught it before I realized I had said it out loud.
"If you like Jaxon more than why are you in your room with this other guys who, I'm not going to lie, looks kind of creepy. But like a cute creepy?" I chucked at her, knowing that she was just trying to lighten the mood a bit.
"You just have to trust me on this, I'll tell you everything once things calm down but for right now will you trust your best friend?"
Bekah nodded, pulling me in for a hug that caused my spine to crack under the pressure. "Of course I'll trust my bestie. Just make sure that you follow your heart, I don't think you have a brain in that head of yours to follow well anyways."
