It's sad that we don't talk much these days
Hey, m'dude, it's strange to be so far away from you
When once you wanted to be close to me in every way
Almost one year ago, that's when it started
Last year's spirit day at school, when you told me you liked me
Almost two weeks later, we were together
I'd never had a boyfriend before; it quite excited me
For a while our relationship was so good,
But somehow it went by so fast
I messed up and did some stupid things, you broke up with me
I should've known it wouldn't last
It hurts my heart, knowing that you hate me
I'm sorry for all the things I did that I wish I could undo
We hardly ever talk anymore
So I just want to say hey, m'dude
