I think this...overtime, this staying all day and all night, is just how things work around here. I suspect my poor cat has ran away, else he starved to death. My roommate, Martha, maybe she's taken to feeding him. I hope she's alright with keeping up our place; I just don't have the time right now.

Oh, Joey's so worked up about deadlines, but I don't see him doing any of the work! In fact, most of our problems are rooted at his terribly slothful work ethic. It's as though his mind moves before his hands; he spends most of his time locked away in his office, dreaming when he's supposed to be writing. To make up for it, he just doesn't let us leave. Or, at least, repeatedly recommends that we don't. We take turns sleeping on the couch in the lobby on breaks, but there's only one of those. Needless to say, we've all gotten used to sleeping in our chairs.

Henry told me I could leave if I wanted to, because I'm a woman and all. I think he thought I had a man to go home to, but I don't. I told him I was in it with everyone else, and he seemed to appreciate it.
