Being the only woman animator in this place as of right now, I feel pretty lucky, don't get me wrong. But the way Joey talks to me... he makes it seem like I'm some dainty little maid or something. He'll come into my little space and lean over my back; he'll breathe down my neck... And there are so many memos that I don't hear because he doesn't think I should get to hear them.  He'll even get onto me if my dresses are too "revealing," as though I'll cause a riot if my shoulder blades show. Don't even get me started on his bathroom policy. I swear, if he didn't consider me a godsend artist, he never woulda hired me, just because I'm a woman.

Look, Mister Drew, for Pete's sakes, I'm no housewife. I'm in this to be a creator and an artist. I'm in this to entertain and spread some joy, just like you.

Oh well, I suppose. As bothered as I may be, that's just how things are. Regardless of how some men may feel about working alongside a woman, we're all in this together. And not all of them treat me differently, either. Say, Henry. He seems to appreciate all the work I do for this company. Henry's got a lover of his own: his lovely Linda, and, from what little I've heard of her, she's just as smart, self-sufficient, and capable as I am. It's obvious Henry knows how to treat a woman.

 As an equal, that's how.
