*There are footsteps as Agnes and Henry walk through the hall to Joey's office. Various different muffled conversations can be heard in the background as they pass.*
Agnes:
Alright, it's recording. What do I need, a time and date?
Henry:
None of that matters right now. ...Oh, Joey, please be safe.
Unknown Male Voice (speculated to be animator Ronny Oswald):
What's going on?
Henry:
We're going to get through that door.
(Ronny:)
Really?
Agnes:
Look, we all have our quarrels with Joey, but I'd rather be in a state of annoyance than a state of mourning.
Henry:
We're not even sure he's in here. But I think we'd all like to know.
*A doorknob intensely rattles.*
Henry:
The lock won't budge. I'm not sure why I even tried.
*Light knocking.*
Agnes:
Mister Drew, if you're in there, if you can hear us, say something now.
*More light knocking.*
Henry:
Joey, can you hear us?
(Ronny:)
Nothing. He's not in.
Agnes:
We can't know for sure.
Wally:
*approaching with quick footsteps*
Watch out, everybody! Stand back!
*Crashing noises as the ax strikes the door six times, followed by the clattering of wood.*
Wally:
'At'll do it!
Henry:
Joey? Are you in there?
*More employees approach. There are many indiscernible outcries from various different male voices.*
Unknown Male Voice (speculated to be sound tech Gerald Harding):
What the... did you break down the door?
(Unknown Employee:)
Are you guys outta your minds?
(Unknown Employee 2:)
Is he in there?
Sammy Lawrence:
What is with all of this noise, this... distraction? Is Joey still not here?
Agnes:
We're about to find out.
Henry:
*from inside the office*
Nothing. Joey's not here. But...what the heck?
Wally:
Are those scorch marks?
Henry:
Looks like somebody tipped over a candle or something.
Wally:
What the hell was he doin', meditating?
Agnes:
Well, at least we've narrowed down the possibilities.
(Unknown Employee 3:)
Now all we got is a new door to buy!
(Gerald:)
Was he drinking, or what?
Agnes:
God knows what he was doing.
Henry:
Alright, well, I'm going to go check on his apartment. If he doesn't turn up... I'm calling in a missing person.
Agnes:
Take care, Henry. Now, what are we gonna do with this mess?
(Ronny:)
The real question is, what are we still doing here if Joey's not checking our punchtimes?
Sammy:
Amen to that.
Wally:
I can't believe I busted down this door. If Joey turns up to find his office door in shambles, and he sees the ax in my hands, I'm outta here!
