They gave me a break from the cityscape so I could help out finishing up the forest ball. It's exactly what I imagined. It's lovely! Henry and his team did an excellent job with Bendy—he looks so lively!
I've just spent a few hours working with Sammy on the score, and, golly, he knows what he's doing when it comes to scoring. He asked me a few weeks ago what I had imaged for my original story—you know, the one I proposed to Joey before he took the credit—and I told him nothing but "3/4 time." He created a fun little masterpiece.
He's a very mysterious man, that Sammy. He was a bit sour when I first went down there, but as soon as he showed off his music, his spirits were as high as the Woolworth. He let me sit in while he conducted the orchestra. Oh, with his arms flailing about, moving to the melody, how charming it was to watch such a cryptic man act just as animated as the little devil himself!
...Sammy seems to be having the same problems with Joey as the rest of us. I hope he has it in him to stick around; he's intriguing, and I'm quite glad he's here.
