Chapter 13: Change My Mind

[3rd POV]

Y/N's body collapsed as soon as they were out of Konohagakure's boundaries. Deidara landed on a rasping ground. Her body soon turned back to human.

"Y/N!" Deidara went to where her body is straight away. Once he realized she was naked and unconscious, his cheeks went red and panicked.

He took off his Akatsuki coat and put it on Y/N's body to cover her up. Her injuries more visible than ever. She took a lot of blow and it is clearly seen on her bruised body. He created one bird clay and shouted, "Katsu!"

Once the clay turned gigantic, he carried Y/N's unconscious body and ride on the clay.

[Y/N's POV]

"We've arrived, un." Deidara-kun declared as the bird clay landed on one of the Akatsuki hideout.

Once we entered the hide out, someone spoke, "I see you've successfully brought her."

"Oh man, she is actually hotter in person." Another one said. "She definitely looks worth sacrificing to my Lord Jashin." He hysterically laughed.

Uncomfortable feeling started to creep in. "Shut it, Hidan. She may actually cost a lot of money." Another one said.

Most of them are holograms standing on an enormous statue with opened eyes. The only one who was physically here was Tobi and Deidara-kun.

The other one, Hidan, groaned. "Not with that again! I am definitely going to kill you after I finish sacrificing her to Lord Jashin!" He challenged.

As the two bickered, I whispered to Deidara-kun. "Is it always like this?"

"Hm? What do you mean, un?"

"Like this. Messy and loud."

He nodded. "Quite so, un."

"Oi, Deidara-chan!" Hidan called, snicker visible in his hologram.

"Stop calling me that!" Deidara-kun turned his attention towards Hidan.

I giggled at the way he called Deidara-kun. "Y/N!" He turned to me once he heard my giggle.

"I'm sorry." I burst into laughter. "I might actually call you that now." His cheeks started to burn.

And that slight reaction was definitely seen by the annoying Hidan. "Oh? Are you blushing, Deidara?"

His red cheeks that meant something else turned into anger. "Shut it, Hidan!"

"Enough, everyone." The leader finally spoke. "Deidara, come up here and we'll start extracting this tailed beast."

"Okaaaay." He lazily obliged. "Oh, use my room for a while. This is going to take a lot of time. The room's on the right. Across it is the kitchen and fridge and, there's a door just a couple away to the left from my room. That's the bathroom." Once he was done giving directions, he went up to one of the fingers of the statue and they soon, started extracting the tailed beast.

They didn't mind me watching though. I mean, they know I still couldn't be trusted but their mission is hunting Jinchuurikis and extracting the tailed beast out of them is quite out to the villages already.

But one thing I have noticed as I continued to watch them: one of the closed eyes opened as they extract.

What could this statue be? Is it alive? Guess they'll tell me one day.
