Deidara's thoughts are starting to betray him. He was tempted to kiss the lips of Y/N.
She look so invulnerable. Deidara thought but he slapped away his thoughts. This isn't the right time to be thinking something like this! You need to be her anchor, Deidara! He shouted at himself.
And, yet, he still stared at her.
Once he was aware of what he was doing, he turned away and strode out of the room.

[Y/N's POV]
After dinner, I went straight to the room and sat on my personal desk. I started a letter I have been thinking of writing since the start of being an Akatsuki member.
A letter to the love of my life.
It's best to give it to him on the right time. In my current state, he believes no words that comes from my mouth.
I've written everything I have desired to write and when I was about to finish up, a voice boomed in the soundless room. "What are you doing? I thought you've gone back to slee— oi! Why are you crying, un?!"
I wiped away the tears that escaped in my eyes. I swiftly folded the letter and put it in an envelope. "Deidara-kun. I have a favor to ask you." My voice shook.
"Un?" He glanced with curiosity evident in his gorgeous blue eye.
"I want you to give this to Shikamaru-kun." I handed him a letter.
"What? Shouldn't you be the one—"
"If." I cut him off. "If I won't be able to give it to him. Hold onto it until the right time has come." I finished what I said.
He grab ahold of the letter and secured it in his cloak. "I—" I choked. "I'm going to bed." A lump in my throat, forming.
"Oi, Y/N." He called but I paid no attention to him. "Are you alright?"
Tears streamed out of my eyes when his hand made contact with my forearm.
I broke down in front of someone else.
[3rd POV]
Deidara's first instinct was to hug the wolf girl. His arm pulled her closer to his body, engulfing her in a sweet comforting hug.
One of his hands smoothly rubbed her [Y/H/C] hair, shushing her until she have calmed down.
That bastard. He's gonna pay for this, un! You've totally wasted a masterpiece. Deidara ranted on his mind.
He slumped on the floor in the room as Y/N showered his cloak with tears.
After hours of tears, when his ass was starting to feel numb, Y/N sniffled.
She lifted her head and stared at the cerulean ones. Her voice shaking and weak. "I'm sorry."
Deidara shook his head no. "It's alright. Let it all out. You have to."
Y/N sniffled. "Thank you." She muttered.
"I'm just glad you didn't shift." He chuckled.
"I told you, I could control it." She countered back.
At the end of the day, things settled down and Deidara offered to snuggle, keeping in mind at what he have said before.
-
Y/N decided to cook for everyone. She was thankful enough towards Yoshino-san that she had learn how to cook.
The first one to emerge from the dining room was the most annoying one, Hidan.
"Hmm? What's this? Are you cooking for us, Y/N?" He asked rhetorically.
"Isn't it obvious? It's bacon and eggs." She countered back.
Soon, the others have joined in. The other members whom she haven't met was also there.
Once Y/N served the last plate for Itachi, Deidara stared at them cautiously. His eyes stared with hint of jealousy as Y/N gave it to Itachi with admiration. (A/N: cause who doesn't admire Itachi, right?)
"Why are you staring at Y/N, senpai?" Tobi asked.
"I wasn't." Deidara snarled.
"You totally are, Barbie!" Hidan screamed.
"I told you I wasn't!" He denied. "Shut the fuck up, Hidan or I'll blow you to pieces!"
"Try it! As if you could kill me." Hidan argued.
"Hidan. Deidara." Pein, who emerged from the door, warned.
"Good morning, Leader-sama." Y/N greeted the orange-haired man.
Pein nodded and sat at a vacant chair to eat breakfast.
After breakfast, everyone went into their business. Deidara was one of the members who were proceeding to go out of the base. "Deidara-senpai? Where are we going?" Tobi asked as he catch up to the blond.
"We're finishing up Y/N's training and then we're gonna hunt for another tailed beast. Doesn't matter which, un." He said.
[Y/N's POV]
As soon as we arrived at a spacious place in the woods, we started the training.
"What else do you want to learn, Y/N?" Deidara asked.
I contemplated on everything I've learned so far. Defences and Offences.
Can ice freeze wind? I thought.
"Gah." I muttered after realizing what I was thinking of.
"Y/N?"
"Huh? Oh. Sorry. I was just thinking if ice could actually freeze wind..."
"I don't think it can but wind could amplify your kekkei genkai."
"Amplify my Ice Release..." I trailed off. "But we don't have anyone that could perform a simple wind jutsu..."
"And everyone who could perform wind jutsu is out on a mission, un."
I sighed. "Oh well, I could always try it any time."
Time flew by and I've learned an offensive attack that I could do with my tail, throw shards of ice using hidden mist jutsu and use any matter into ice.
The hidden mist jutsu puffing out of my wolf snout followed by shards of ice from my fur.
However, I found out being in the massive form of wolf would take a lot of chakra and can be spent for a few minutes.
Once I was back in my human form, Deidara-kun quickly went to my side. "Are you alright? Should we take a break, un?"
I nodded. He sat on my side and just took in all the fresh air around us. With the remaining hidden mist jutsu being intact around us, the air was cooler.
-
I was growling at the person in front of me. He was staring down at hateful self, full of caution. "Don't worry. We're going to rescue you." He said.
I snarled but he showed no emotions of being frighten. However, the other guys who was with him were scared to death.
I had no idea what I looked like. I had no idea who was in front of me. All I know was I had murdered all people who came near this place.
Yes, this place. My home.
