Grace said "Mummy, can we watch a film when we get in?"

"Hmmm. We will have to see. Of course darling" Connie said smiling down at her.

"Can Jacob come?" Grace asked.

"You will have to ask him sweetheart." Connie said to Grace.

"Jacobbbbb"

"Yesssssss" He replied waiting for the question.

"Will you come and watch a movie with us please" Grace asked doing her best puppy dog eyes.

"Course firecracker". Jacob said

"Yayyy"! Grace said super excited

Connie drove all three home – due to the fact that Jacob had walked to work. Grace was in the back Jacob in the front. The car journey was peaceful.

They pulled up. They all got out and Connie unlocked. Grace dragged Jacob to go and pick a movie. "Can?" she queried as to whether he wanted a bear. He shook his head. "Tea, Coffee, Wine?" She asked further.

"Wine please" Who was he kidding – that is what she would be drinking he would drink it too. "Thank you" he said and smiled at her.

"You're welcome." She replied.

Grace settled down on the big sofa next to Jacob. Connie debated – sit next to Jacob or sit in the other sofa. Sitting next to Jacob would make her more comfy and warm. Sitting on her own would stop anything from happening. Who was she kidding she wanted something to happen – she wanted to see where this went, even though she would not admit this to anyone yet.
