Cole's POV
"You don't understand Cole. I'm just so ugly." She say crossing my arms across her chest trying to shield herself.
She's right. I can never and will never understand her situation but I can help.
"I've never seen anything more beautiful." I smiles.
And I honestly never have.
Her pale skin contrasting her black undergarments while her hair lazily and messily flowing with every move she makes.
She's beautiful.
She turn around to see me biting her lip.
But then the door bell rings and fucks up the moment.
"Who the fuck could that be?" She question walking words the door.
"Um Valerie I'll get it through on a shirt or something." I say walking behind her.
"Oh yeah right. Thanks Cole." she smiles running off upstairs.
Opening the door I am greeted my non other than Jason.
"What the fuck do you want?" I spat narrowing my eyes ever so slightly.
"Please just hear me out." he begs on the verge of tears.
"You don't deserve it-" I get interrupted by Valerie prancing behind me in volleyball shorts and a hoodie, hair tucked away in a high pony tail. Me being as big it a built as I am; I'm blocking Jason.
"So who is it Cole?" she questions trying to go on her tippy toes being completely unsuccessful.
"No one I'll handle it." I smile at her.
Scrunching her eyebrows she shakes her head. "It's my home. I think I deserve to know." she states placing her hand on her now cocked hip.
"Okay guess." I smirk she'll never guess.
"Well it's a guy. I can smell his cologne from here. I also know he has to be a bit smaller in stature and hight because you're covering him." She places her index finger on her chin thinking carefully.
"Is it Oscar?" She asks.
Oscar. As in 'Rachel's Oscar' Oscar? Ain't nobody got time for him.
"Um no. Try again."
"Well he's the only guy I know who wears that mouth watering cologne in the morning. I don't know anyone else so who ? " she pouts.
"It's me." Jason says in a cough.
"Get the fuck off my property before I blow your brains out." Valerie says shaking with anger.
"Please you guys I'm sorry. I was mad and grouchy and stuff. I don't expect to have your trust right off the bat but give me a try. Please!" he says in a sob a single tear rubbing down his face. "I was a dick but Cole you're all I have left. You can't leave me. And if this girl that's right here at this very moment means enough to you then I will respect her no questions asked. But just tell me that's it's going to be okay bud. Please."
"Valerie." I question.
"Yeah?" she questions back looking at me through her lashes.
"It's your call."
"Well let's see. Considers the fact that you assumed that I fuck your best friend and not only that, but the fact that I was bearing his child. No. That shit does not slide with me." She states speaking with her hands. making him look like knees are about to give out of sheer sadness. "But I'm no heartless bitch that doesn't understand grumpy morning and bitchy days. My brother always taught me that forgiving and forgetting is a beautiful thing, asshole, prove him right." She smiles at Jason.
I smile at her. She's just amazing.
Jason smiles a full blown smile too large for his face and goes in to hug Valerie when Valerie pulls up her palm to place it on his chest.
"If you ever try to touch me on the other hand I will not hesitate to punch you." Her lips in a tight line. "But it's a special occasion." She slowly smiles wrapping her arms around Jason's torso snuggling into his chest as he rests his arms on her shoulders.
I really wish I had a camera. This would be a beautiful moment to cover.
The I hear a snap. Looking around on instinct I see a black car speeding off. That was so fucking weird.
"Did you see that?" Valerie asks shading her eyes with her hands.
"I have a feeling it's not good." Jason says coming to me give me a bro hug.
"Well see in the meantime lets get some breakfast and an aspirin. I'm dyin here." Jason says overly dramatic. We all laugh and head to My car.
"Cole. Let's feed Luther first. I know he misses me." Valerie smiles putting on her seat belt.
I nod in response.
This could kinda sorta ,maybe, potentially, be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
