Philip stood on the deck his hair blowing. Reynolds Pamphlet, huh? The young Hamilton was 15 years of age and had a few younger siblings. Now what had happened was his dad had an affair and published it... and Eliza, his mother, was broken. She burned all the love letters and forbod the children from speaking to their father who still lived in the house.
Philip closed his eyes as a tear traced down his red wind-struck cheek. Why? Why did his fatger, the man he trusted do this? Philip didnt even have anyone to vent or talk to, he had to stay strong for his family and seem brave to the public. Any real friend he had didn't like him, moved away, or Philip was forbidden to speak to them.Like Theo.
He remembered her well... even though it had been 405 days, 12 hours, 6 minuets, and 13- no 14 seconds. But hey, whose counting anyway? Philip sighed and went back into his room flopping on his bed. He groaned and turned over facing the cieling.
He realized a while ago what woupdve happened in the kitchen and it wouldn't leave his mind.
Her brown eyes sparkling, she smelled of lilacs... and her smile.
Philip put his hands over his face and groaned sitting up.
"Stop moping idiot! It was obviously hormones or... or something!" He whispered angrily aloud to himself.
Just then, Angelica (his little sister) came in. The door creaked as his head jolted over seeing the short pale girl with chocolate curls. She held an envelope and walked over, then held it out."Its for you, now stop talking to yourself and read this instead." She smiled, as Philip took it and jokingly stuck his tongue out.
Angelica plopped herself on his bed as he opened it and he instantly recognized the hand writing.
Dear Philip,
How are you? Well, probably not well because of the affair with your father but never mind that. If you need to letter anytime I am always here to listen and write back. I miss you very much my star. Hopefully we can see and be together soon.Love,
Theo <3P. S. Meet me at the library tonight at sunset
Philip's mother hung open as his cheeks flushed.
"Well? Who was it-" Angelica started but was quickly shut down by Philip.
"No one!" He shouted, springing up and putting the letter in a drawer.
Angelica raised and eyebrow but hopped off the bed. "Alright. See ya later Pippy!" She then walked out.
Philip watched as she closed the door. He then smiled widely, squealed, and flopped on his bed hugging a pillow.
"Wow.... Theo..."
