Author note: Hey! Sorry about this book, Im still Into it and looovvveeee the ship but I am always busy. Anywho, more updates every Sunday hopefully!

Philip waited until the sun went down. He snuck around the house making sure every Hamilton was asleep. While he crept down the stairs he saw his father on the sofa, snoring. He sighed and looked at his father. He looked so.... pathetic. Philip opened the door slowly then exited the house. He fixed his hair then quickly walked to the library clutching the letter.

As he walked, he kept thinking back to all the Times Theo and him shared.... if only they had more memories. Philip truly liked Theodosia, he always wanted to at least try and Court her. Yet, his father and hers would've never allowed. Plus he was 15, he had to focus on his future... most likely without Theo.

Philip soon reached the library, seeing a silhouette of a girl. He approached but grew hesitant. What if it wasn't her? What if she changed? Or worse... he changed. He gulped and took a deep breath.

"T-theo?" He called out glancing up.

The silhouette turned around and revealed the young girl that was Theodosia. She worse a lilac dress that wasn't puffy, but slim and drapey. She smiled, her dimples that Philip adored showing more. Her almond eyes sparkled as her caramel skin was clear with a few freckles. Theodosia gave a small wave.

"Hello Philip." She said gently.

Philip froze. He smiled and then ran to her. She ran as well, leaping in his arms as he twitled her. The two cried and laughed and as he set her down, they both just stopped. They looked into eachothers eyes again.

Green, Brown.

Light, Dark.

Hamilton, Burr.

Theodosia looked down. "Sorry I never wrote you. I was... and you.... and Pamphl-"

"It's ok." Philip said, cutting her off. He cupped her cheek. "As long as you're here now."

Theodosia blushed and looked up at him. Philip smiled warmly and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. He then leaned in slowly, it was now or never. Their lips grew closer, one inch....

Half an inch....

A few centimeters....

Theodosia pulled away and looked down rubbing her arm. Philip froze, feeling his heart shatter.

"We can't." She spoke softly looking up at him.

"What.. what do you mean we can't?" He asked stepping closer, taking her hands.

Theo pulled them away. "Philip.... our parents. We can't keep doing this Romeo and Juliet thing. We have to be married off soon and..."

"And what? Who cares!" Philip pulled her close and cupped her cheek looking in her eyes. "I want to be with you." He spoke softly.

Theodosia placed her hand on his and gently pulled his away. "Im leaving for a women's school. I can't.... I can't do this anymore. I will still write you but nothing more."

Philip looked at her. "So this is it...."

"Yeah... I guess so..." She got teary and wiped away her tears.

Philip looked at her. "Theodosia I-"

"Don't." She said looking away. "Ill write you later Philip.... have... and splendid life." She then turned, and walked away.

Philip watched, heart broken. He got teary and looked down.

"I love you...." he whispered.
