Super Smash Brothers Brawl: The Subspace Emissary

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Meta Knight was rushing. He didn't know if it would mean much to the princess, but he ran as fast as he could to the castle to inform the incident. 

Meta Knight had served Princess Peach for many years and she had trusted him.

"Is Princess Peach present!?" He called out, breathing heavily. 

"She's playing with Luigi in the garden" Meta Knight heard a familiar voice. A jealous Mario was sitting on the staircase alone. In a bad mood. 

"I must see her. This is urgent" Meta Knight said as he rushed to the garden to find the princess.

He easily spotted the bright pink dress. 

"Princess!" He shouted again.

"Why the rush and all the panting my knight?" 

"My ship Halberd was stolen last night." Meta Knight spoke.

"What? Oh no! By who?" Peach gasped, covering her tiny mouth with her hand in the shimmering white glove. 

"I do not know. But I must find it before it gets into the hands of anyone with nefarious intentions." Meta Knight said in a calmer voice. 

"Well my afternoon tea is ready soon so we shall discuss the matter then." Peach told Meta Knight, as if this was no matter.  

"Princess!" Meta Knight cried impatiently. 

He had dealt with the princess for a long time. He knew and coped well with her high-pitched voice and her bothersome personality, but this was not something he could give up easily. He felt uneasy about this menacing incident. 

"Mario, Luigi, you must listen to me." Meta Knight said to the brothers who were fighting in the garden. Over Princess Peach.  

"I've rescued her more than you have!" Mario said angrily. 

"Well who helped you rescue the princess?" Said his brother Luigi. 

"This is no time for fighting brothers, I really, really don't have a good feeling about this." Meta Knight said with a serious tone. 

The brothers calmed down because they knew that something was always wrong when Meta Knight said that.

They went inside the castle to follow Peach who was now sipping on her tea on the balcony, looking over her peaceful Mushroom Kingdom. 

"I think Meta Knight is serious about what he told you. You should listen to him." Mario suggested. 

Given his heroic efforts to rescue her every time, Peach could not ignore Mario. 

"I will send a messenger to the kingdom of Hyrule to inform them of the incident. I know the princess." Peach said after a deep sigh.

"Allow me to be the messenger." Meta Knight said with a voice of determination.

Meanwhile in the outer space...

"Pika!" Samus woke up to Pikachu barking in her face. 

"Are we almost there?" Samus said while trying to rub her eyes. But soon she realized that she was in her power suit. 

"We are." as Samus looked behind, Fox, Falco and Wolf were looking out from the windows of this enormous spaceship, Great Fox. 

"After all I think Earth is still the most beautiful planet of all" Wolf stated.

"I love flying through the sky on Earth man." said Falco, who always loved to fly in Arwings, their combat ships. 

"Well we can get a break from all the fighting and hang around in there for a bit I guess." Fox replied.

Samus chuckled inside at their conversation while petting Pikachu. Pikachu was her partner for a while now. He had been with Samus since Samus was a Galactic Federation soldier. 

"Well thanks for flying all the way to Earth for us. I really appreciate it." Samus thanked the three space soldiers.

"Not a problem. If you need us you know how to reach me." Fox replied.

The Great Fox was entering the Earth as it sped up. Everyone held onto the ship as they revealed their excitement.

"Now let's get on to our Arwings!" Fox shouted.

All of them went to position themselves for their departure. Falco taught Samus how to control the Arwing and Samus adapted easily. They got into the small ships and departed from the Great Fox. 

Wolf stayed behind to keep the ship safe and watched the departure of his partners and Samus, along with Pikachu. None of them had any idea what was coming at them on this beautiful planet.
