Chapter 13: Reunited

"Finally!" Falco shouted as he threw himself onto the body of Great Fox lying in middle of nowhere.

Diddy tilted his head, questioning why their ship was so poorly desgined.

"It's the damage Diddy. Probably from Halberd." Assuming what Diddy was thinking about, Fox replied calmly as he examined the bits of damaged parts.

"I guess this will take us a while before we can fly again." Falco sighed in return.

The three went into the ship to find that Wolf was missing.

"Where's Wolf?" Fox said suspiciously.

"I don't know. But I knew that guy was up to something from the start." Falco replied coldly as he remembered the time when Wolf begged Fox to join the Star Fox, after they defeated Star Wolf in the Lylat system. Falco spat at the thought of the guy as he barely liked Wolf.

"We can't be sure yet." Fox replied cautiously.

Diddy had no idea what the two had talked about since he didn't know who Wolf was. What he did remember was his dear friend Donkey Kong taking a hit from Bowser for Diddy Kong and turning into a trophy figure. He frowned at the vision he saw while Falco and Fox got onto work in order to fix the poor ship. 

While in Hyrule...

Ike was watching over the kingdom of Hyrule, protectively, when he saw the great ship of Halberd heading towards the castle. Marth, Link and Zelda stayed inside while he was doing so.

"Marth!" Ike shouted as loud as he could. Marth immediately knew that the enemy had come to attack again, as he told Link to let the anxious princess escape.

"We'll catch you up." Link nodded at Marth and took Zelda's hand to go.

When Marth got to the top of the castle where Ike was watching, the two quickly spotted the Ancient Minister, while also glancing at a devastating amount of black matter falling from the ship, forming countless number of enemies. 

"Here we reunite with that bastard."

Marth whispered as he jumped towards the Ancient Minister and swung his sword, but unfortunately missed. Then suddenly, another swing of a sword came, however at Marth. He quickly avoided.

It was Meta Knight, followed by Lucario. He had thought that Marth was attacking Hyrule.

"Meta Knight! Lucario!" Zelda screamed at the two. Meta Knight and Lucario understood the situation within a second and positioned themselves, ready to defeat the enemies along with Marth.

When Ancient Minister thought he was finally getting away, he wasn't.

"Tenku!" Ike shouted as he threw his glorious sword up high in the air, grabbed it as he jumped and struck the subspace bomb that the Ancient Minister was carrying. The Ancient Minister flew away due to the trembling damage caused by Ike. The bomb dropped to the ground, now broken and useless. 

The swordsmen and Lucario bravely fought and defeated all of the enemies as the defeated ones turned back into the unshaped black matter. They then immediately jumped onto the ship of Halberd, followed by Link who carried Zelda.
