Super Smash Brothers Brawl: The Subspace Emissary

Chapter 3: Attack

Samus was controlling the Arwing better than she thought she would. She felt a little packed since she was in her powersuit with Pikachu on top of her head. 

"I'm liking this Arwing. Don't you Pikachu?" Samus smiled. 

"Pika!" Pikachu replied, not being able to calm down. 

Samus saw Fox and Falco flying their Arwings next to Samus's. They were spinning around and just...being the professionals that they were. 

Then suddenly, Samus heard a booming sound of an explosion. She looked out the window again only to find Fox's Arwing, wrecked, falling down to the ground. 

"Fox!" She screamed but there was no time to rescue him. When she looked up, she found an enormous ship in front of her. 

"What the hell..." Samus whispered.

"Shit, that's the ship of Halberd! Samus get away!" When Falco's signal had reached her, it was too late. The right wing of the Arwing was instantly destroyed by a scorching laser that shot from the Halberd, and the ship was useless. Samus remembered Falco teaching her how to get out of the Arwing in case of an emergency, so she pulled the red bar that she was told to pull. Nothing happpened. 

"Pikachu hold onto me!" Samus shouted at Pikachu and Pikachu jumped onto the her head.

The broken Arwing was approaching the ground with a speed. When it was about to crash, Samus shattered the window with her arm canon and jumped out of the Arwing.

But it was still a little too high. Samus cussed as she grabbed Pikachu and hugged him tightly. And the two went straight down to the ground.
