Super Smash Brothers Brawl: The Subspace Emissary

Chapter 10: Another

Pit and Kirby were flying towards Mushroom Kingdom as they witnessed the Ancient Minister flying over to the kingdom with a round object that seemed to be the subspace bomb. The same bomb as the one they dropped in Altea. 

"Kirby. We need to hurry." Pit told his partner.

"Poyo!" Kirby responded as he was flying on his star.

Meanwhile Peach, Mario and Luigi had no idea what was going to happen to their kingdom. They were in the garden, peacefully hanging around.

"Princess Peach!" Pit shouted as he and Kirby landed on the garden. Peach looked confused due to the sudden appearance of the uninvited guests. 

"I am Pit from the Sky World and this is Kirby. We just saw the Ancient Minister who I assumed to be carrying the Subspace bomb. We must stop them now." Pit informed the princess.

Peach took a few seconds before she responded.

"Mario, Luigi, you heard him." She said quietly. A little horrified. 

Pit, Kirby and the brothers immediately found the Ancient Minister who already dropped the bomb. Two robbots appeared and opened the bomb. The clock was already ticking. 

Mario and Luigi grabbed onto the robots and tried to make them let go, but it did not work. Pit and Kirby tried to catch the Ancient Minister who was already flying away. When they looked up to the sky, there was Halberd flying high up. 

When Pit and Kirby turned around to the bomb, they knew better to escape.

Pit grabbed the two brothers and Kirby went back into the castle on his star, reappearing with Peach on his back. 

Pit was exhausted from carrying the two brothers by the time they landed on Sea of Clouds. 

"Peach...We're sorry we couldn't stop them." Mario apologized.

"No it's okay. No one knew that was going to happen until last minute." Peach responded quietly, looking down on her feet.
