Super Smash Brothers Brawl: The Subspace Emissary

Chapter 5: Sky World

Pit was sitting on almost-the-top of the sky world, watching over his home. He was feeling warm and peaceful while soaking the sun, until he heard a disrupting sound of explosions from the under world. He instantly flew off to where his dear friend was.

"Kirby, did you hear that?" Pit asked his friend who was peacefully napping.

"Poyo....?" Kirby replied quietly, not hearing Pit a bit.

"Something must have happened underneath in Altea. I'm going to talk to Lady Palutena if we can go down." Pit told the sleepy pink ball.

"I heard it as well Pit." The Goddess suddenly emerged out of the clouds.  

"Lady Palutena!" Pit flinched as he saw her.

"I can see that the world is going through some changes. Bad changes I shall say. Pit, you must seek to prevent any malice that is taking place under our sky world." Lady Palutena told the angel in a calm, assuring manner. 

"My lady, what is happening underneath?" Pit asked.

"You must uncover the truth yourself." Lady Palutena told the worried angel. 

Pit rushed back to Kirby and fed him some food, knowing that it was the only way to wake the hungry monster up. Kirby vacuumed everything into his mouth in an instant.

"Let's go Kirby, this is going to be a long journey. I can assure you that." Pit gave Kirby a small smile. 

"Poyo!" Kirby was already full of energy, ready to take in whatever that was coming at them. Kirby had been in the Sky World since King Dedede put him in a canon to get rid of him, during Dedede's attack on Kirby and Meta Knight. Being the angel he was, Pit found Kirby lying unconscious on the clouds of the Sky World and rescued him. 

The angel and the pink puffball were now descending to Altea, only to find the kingdom swallowed by a massive dark matter, the subspace. 

"Oh my god... what in the world happened to Altea?" Pit whispered shockingly.

"Poyo..." Kirby said with a weak voice.

"it's okay buddy, we'll find out the bastard who did this" In an attempt to brighten Kirby up, Pit patted the pink ball. His voice had weakened when he said "bastard", though Kirby never understood bad language. The innocent angel could never swear out loud.
