The feeling of the sun tickling on my skin has woken me up, I heard music coming from a radio. I opened my eyes and I saw a road in front of me. After a moment I realised I was in a car. I looked to my left and saw Cameron driving. His head turned to look at me and a soft smile appeared on his face. At that moment, for the first time ever since I have woken up from the coma I felt something towards him. He gave me butterflies. I felt calm and comfortable.
"Good morning, baby...again" he chuckled and put his hand on my thigh. "You kind of fell asleep when I picked you up this morning."
"Oh..yeah. Sorry, but you came to my house at 6am.." I took his hand in mine and intertwined our fingers together. Right here, right now I felt good being with Cameron all alone, in the car, driving to an unknown place.
"We are almost there. I was bored , while you were sleeping. I needed somebody to talk to."
"I am awake now. So where exactly are we going? You have been driving for what..5 hours? Are you sure we are not lost?"
"Relax, we are not.. Grayson, Ethan,Victor and Eva are in the car in front of us. Grayson is taking us to some place that according to him is 'the most beautiful place you have ever seen' "
I didn't want to talk about Grayson right now. I wanted to enjoy Cameron being with me, without a constant reminder of Grayson. I just can't seem to escape him, he is everywhere. I push my thoughts of Grayson away and turned my attention back to the great guy next to me.
"Ohhhh the song! Cameron , turn up the music!" I got excited when I heard a song from a Disney channel movie.
"You remember that song?" he looked at me with a big grin on his face, while turning up the volume.
"There's something about the sunshine, baby .I'm seeing you in a whole new light. Out of this world for the first time, baby. Ohhh it's alright " I sang along with the radio. I started dancing on my seat and pretending I was in a music video.
"Everywhere's a scene.And now we're in it.I don't wanna paint this town alone.When I see you smile I always feel at home"
Cameron joined me in my silliness. We continued driving and singing along with the radio. I was so happy and joyful. Cameron didn't stop making me laugh all the time. For a moment I kept my eyes on him, studying his facial features. I was lucky to have him, deep down I knew I never deserved him, because even though right now I feel everything towards Cameron, there was a guy with a sharp jawline and a cocky attitude , with a great smile, sitting in the car in front of us. There was Grayson. I couldn't help but feel torn between them.
"oh..they are pulling..we are finally here." Cameron followed their car.
We took some muddy road that lead us to a lake with an amazing forest view. I was speechless.We parked the cars near the lake.
