You're best friends and his girlfriend doesn't like you. (Part 1)

Liam: You had known Liam for years, and you two were really close. But he got a new girlfriend, and for some reason, she didn’t really take a liking to you. Liam said not to worry about it, but you couldn’t really do that. One night, you were texting Liam, asking each other how things were going, when you suddenly got a strange text from a random number. The text read: “Listen up. You better stay the hell away from Liam. He’s dating me now, he doesn’t have time for you. Stay away.” You screen shot it and sent it to him, and he replied with this: “Don’t pay attention to her. I’ve made it clear that you’re just a friend.” You thought about it, and texted back with this: “Ok, but what if it gets to the point where you and I can’t be friends anymore?” You didn’t hear from him for about five minutes, and you got worried. But he finally replied. “It won’t ever get to that point, you’re wayyyyyy too important to me. :)”

Zayn: Recently, your boyfriend broke up with you, so you hung out with Zayn even more than you already did. You were at Zayn’s house, when his girlfriend showed up for a surprise visit. There was a knock at the door, and he got up to answer. You were terrified when you saw it was her, and she gave you a death glare. You guys didn’t get along, but Zayn didn’t know that. “Hey, I’m going to make tea, either of you guys want any?” You and her both shook your heads, and Zayn headed into the kitchen. “You look like you just rolled out of bed and got attacked by a flock of birds.” She said to you, sitting on the other end of the couch. You remembered that your hair was in a messy bun, you had sweatpants and an old sweatshirt on, and you had no makeup on. Sure, you didn’t look like a model, but it wasn’t that bad. “I’d rather not get into a petty argument right now, especially not with you.” You said, in a quiet voice. Obviously she heard, because she gave you a dirty look, as you got up to see if Zayn was almost done with the tea.

Harry: Harry was having problems with his girlfriend, so to take his mind off of it, you invited him out to go to a movie with you. He happily agreed, and you were off to the theater. As soon as you arrived though, you saw the girl causing Harry all this trouble, and you knew there would be a shitstorm. She saw the two of you, laughed, and then sauntered over with her friends following behind. “Not even three hours after we have a fight, you’re already out with another girl. And of all the girls, you choose this one. If you’re gonna cheat, at least do it with a pretty girl.” You looked to the ground, because you knew she hated you. She’s hated you since day one. “Three things are wrong with that statement. One, I would never cheat, you know me better than that. Two, she’s just a friend, she was trying to help me get my mind off of things for a while with a friendly movie invite. Three, she’s beautiful, thank you very much. We’ll talk about this later after my friend and I get out of the movie.” He grabbed your hand and led you into the movie theater, with his little girlfriend still standing there, completely speechless. Needless to say, that night made her hate you even more, if that was possible.

Louis: Believe it or not, you and Louis’ current girlfriend actually were best friends years ago. But one stupid party ruined that, people were starting stupid rumors about you. She unfortunately believed them, and you guys were never really friends again. One day, you were FaceTiming Louis while he was on tour. His girlfriend was there, but he didn’t think it would be much of a problem. “Oh my God, so this fan at the show last night threw this thing on stage, right? And I went-” He stopped mid-sentence and noticed her glaring at you from behind him. “Babe, is something wrong?” She took her glare off of you, and shifted it to him as he turned towards her. “Yeah, something’s wrong. Get off of FaceTime with her.” He turned back to you, and then to her again. “No, I’m going to finish this conversation with her because she is my best friend, and I want to tell her a funny story. Whatever happened between the two of you is in the past, get over it. Good lord.” She huffed and walked away, and turned to you. “I’m sorry.” Was all you could say, and he looked confused. “Why are you sorry? It’s not your fault she holds grudges for way too long.” “I’m sorry that I’m always getting in the way.” “Hey, you’re not getting in the way. I’ve known you a lot longer, so she just needs to deal with it. I’ll always have your back.” You smiled, and he continued his story.

Niall: Niall was your best friend before either one of you could even talk, and you liked that you were really close to him. But then he got a girlfriend, and she was so rude you could’ve sworn she flew in straight from Bitchfield. The hate the two of you shared was unbelievable. But Niall, being the little peacemaker, wanted to make things better between the two of you. So, he invited the both of you to come watch a movie at his house with him and Harry. You knew that this was going to end up being a terrible idea, but you were willing to try, for Niall. So, when you arrived at his house, instead of Niall answering, she answered. The first thing she said as she opened the door was “Ew, who invited man legs?” For some reason, she enjoyed calling you “man legs”. You moved past her without responding, and gave Niall a hug. “Hey, you made it!” He beamed, and sat on the couch with her. You hugged Harry, and you joined them all. The boys sat on the outsides, putting you and Niall’s girlfriend next to each other. You hated it. You hated it so much. You could tell she hated it too. As the movie went on, neither of you could relax, so Niall paused he movie. “You girls doin’ ok there?” She looked to you, and then pulled him off of the couch and into another room. You could hear them get into a fight, and you began to converse with Harry, hoping to drown out the yelling. “I don’t care if you don’t like her, she is my best friend in the world, and nothing in the world will change that! She tried to be nice to you at first, but you just couldn’t do that, could you? No! You had to go and start shit with her!” You heard her start to yell back, but Niall cut her off. “I don’t want to hear it right now. Either you get out there and be nicer, or don’t come out!” He stormed out and went into the kitchen. He was treating her like a child, and it was honestly hilarious.
