You break up, but it’s not what he wants.

Zayn: He stood in front of you after helping you load all of your belongings into your truck. Still dressed in last night’s attire, he stood there with tired eyes staring right into yours. No words needed to be said, everything either of you needed to say was said the previous night. He knew anything he had to say wouldn’t stop you from leaving right now. So instead of speaking he pulled you into a hug, his last hug from you. Slightly pulling away from it you pressed your lips to his. The kiss wasn’t like any other kiss you two had ever shared, it wasn’t a usual ‘I love you kiss’, it was a goodbye forever kiss. Finally breaking away from one another you rested your forehead against his for a mere second. This is what needed to happen. It was clear to you, but he failed to understand it. Nonetheless he helped you into the car, even shutting it for you as you stared straight ahead. You took a chance and looked into the rearview mirror once you had began driving off. He stood there in the middle of the road watching the car, you, get further and further way from him. You weren’t coming back…

Harry: He sat there on the bed with his face buried in his hands. “You don’t understand the things that are going through my head,” you said trying to reason with why you were ending things. Picking up his head his usual bright green eyes were dull, “Make me understand then, [Y/N].” His voice was hoarse, cracking in between words. Shaking your head you stood up and walked away from the bed you two once shared. “I think I'm too messed up in here to string you along in this relationship.” You said motioning to your head. “We can fix this, [Y/N]. I know we can.” Harry said wiping away at his eyes. “I'm sorry…but you barely know me. Not the real me…and if you did, you wouldn’t be trying so hard to get met to stay.” He felt defeated, he didn’t know if anything he had to say would change your mind. So he nodded. No longer begging for you to stay. Maybe the girl he had grown to know and love wasn’t standing in front of him anymore. So he got off the bed and pulled his jacket back on as he slipped past you out of the room, out of your shared flat away from you forever. Because he knew if he’d stay there any longer he would continue to beg. Beg the love of his life to stay and fix everything broken inside of you.

Liam: Nothing seemed wrong. He was the perfect boyfriend that many girls would kill to have. But you no longer wanted it. He could tell solely from the fact you were avoiding him every chance you got. You distanced yourself from him, to the point where some nights you’d even sleep on the couch. Constantly Liam would question himself on what he was doing wrong. “Can you fall out of love with someone?” you asked him staring back at your reflection. He shrugged his shoulders. “That simply means you were never truly in love with that person if you’ve fall out of love with them.” He said slumping his shoulders as he leaned up against the bathroom doorframe. He lifted one hand and rubbed the back of his neck. “Is that what you think happened for you, [Y/N]?” He asked although he wasn’t entirely looking forward to your answer. You stay silent as he stared at you through the mirror. Your silence was the only response he needed to know the answer to that question was yes. “Do you think you could possibly fall back in love with me?” He asked in a tone barely audible. You broke your eye contact with him through the mirror shaking your head no. “I really did love you, Li.” You called out to him because once you broke eye contact he walked away. He went to go think of ways to get you to fall back in love with him.

Louis: In your mind, you just knew Louis wasn’t happy with you. That he was just settling for you. Compared to Eleanor, you were nothing. A downgrade regardless of what Louis or anyone had to say of it. “Why do you keep doing this to me?” He asked kneeling down in front of you with either of his hands placed on your knees. “I know you can do better…I'm trying to help you move on by leaving so you can find the right person.” You said quietly staring away from him. “What if I have found the right person? I can’t do better than you, [Y/N]. I don’t know how many times I have to tell you this, but I'm in love with you and only you.” He said gently taking a hold of your chin forcing you to look down at him. You shook your head and let out a sigh. “I'm really not what you’re looking for, Lou. Don’t sell yourself short, I know I'm really not the girl you’re trying to be with for the rest of your life.” You said shrugging it off as if you didn’t care. He stood up towering over you. “So what? You’re just going to walk out on me then.” He said quietly and you nodded in response. “I'm not leaving to hurt you, Lou…it’s for the best and you know it.” You said standing up and heading toward the door. “It’s for the best for who? You? Because it’s not for me.” He called out in a strained voice.

Niall: He slid down the door resting his head against the locked door. “Can you at least tell me why you’re…um…leaving me?” He spoke softly but loud enough for you to hear through the door. “I just can’t do this any more.” You said quietly letting out a sigh. You took a seat on the ground letting your back rest against the door. “But what did I do?” “Niall you didn’t do anything. It’s me not you.” He let out a cynical chuckle. “Did you really use the whole ‘it’s me not you’ thing as a reason why you want our relationship over, [Y/N].” You shook your head running your fingers through your tangled hair. “I didn’t mean it like that. I'm just saying I don’t want this anymore…” “What about what I want? Does that not matter to you…do I not matter to you anymore?” You lightly tugged at your hair growing frustrated with the conversation. “Niall listen okay. This has nothing to do with you. I just can’t be with you anymore.” You said looking down at your stomach. He didn’t have a clue, but you were pregnant…and you had no plans on keeping it. That’s why you wanted so desperately to leave. You didn’t want this thing that was growing inside of you, but you knew he would. You were using some excuse you made up in your head about the both of you wanting two different things. Although you were actually beginning to believe it, he would never get it. He knew you both wanted each other, so he didn’t understand why you were so eager for the relationship to end.
