HE SUPPOSED TO BE ON TOUR BUT SURPRISES YOU
Harry: It had been two months since Harry had departed for his recent tour. Yes, you missed him, but having him gone for long periods of time was something you had luckily grown accustom to. Plus, in your eyes, it just made the relationship stronger. Anyways, it was a Monday and you had just gotten home from a rough day at work. All you wanted was to collapse into Harry’s arms, but you couldn’t because he wasn’t there. So you shot him a text as you sat at a red light before making your way home. You pulled into the drive way and turned off the motor, getting out and walking to the front door. To your surprise it was unlocked. You could have sworn that you locked it when you left. You cautiously opened it up, sticking your head in and looking around. There was nobody there, but it smelled as if somebody was cooking. You quietly entered the house, trying your best not to make any noise. You tiptoed to the door leading to the kitchen and the sight that greeted your eyes was the best thing you had seen all day. There was Harry, humming quietly to himself, his back to you and stirring a pot. Your eyes teared up a little. You gasped a little, causing him to turn around and give you a smile. “Oh, hi babe!” You didn’t reply, you just bee-lined to him and threw your arms around him. He let out a chuckle and hugged you back tightly. “I missed you baby,” he said, his words muffled by your hair. You pulled away and looked at him with sparkling eyes. “But you’re supposed to be on tour,” you spoke. “Two of the boys got sick, so they gave us a couple weeks off and I just had to come and see you. Now we have the next two weeks to ourselves.” The smile of both of your faces grew and he kissed you with passion. The next two weeks were going to be amazing now that he was back in your arms.
Liam: You sat in front of the computer screen, waiting for Liam’s face to pop up. You tapped your fingers nervously across the mouse pad. His face finally appeared and a smile grew on your face. “Hi Li!” you greeted happily. “Hi (Y/N)! Listen, I know you wanted to talk and everything, but something came up and I have to you. I’m so sorry baby girl. I promise we’ll talk soon.” The smile fell from your face. “Oh, okay. Bye.” He gave you a sad smile and the screen went black. So much for nothing. You closed your lap top and got off the bed where you had been sitting. Letting out a tired sigh, you made your way down stairs to fix yourself a cup of tea before heading off to bed. You couldn’t deny the fact that you were quite upset that Liam was unable to talk. He had to miss yesterday too because something had come up. You walked downstairs to go into the kitchen and make some tea, then headed back upstairs. As you were walking passed the living room entrance something caught your eye. You stopped when you realized there was a person sitting on the couch. “(Y/N)?” the voice spoke with a very familiar tone. Liam? What was he doing home? “L-Liam?” you stuttered, setting down the cup and taking a step forwards towards him. “W-what?” “Surprise!” he cut you off, opening his arms and smiling widely. You didn’t waste a minute running into them and holding onto him tightly. You took in his scent and closed your eyes, hoping this wasn’t a dream. “Am I dreaming?” you questioned, muffled by his t-shirt. “Nope, I’m here baby girl!” he replied excitedly. When you pulled back slightly, his lips were on yours and you immediately melted into him. “What are you doing home?” you asked when you pulled away for air. “I wanted to surprise you. I missed you baby girl, I wanted to see you. So… Surprise!” You giggled and fell back into his embrace. “Welcome home Li.”
Niall: You had a long day at work. Your boss was yelling at you non-stop, the customers all seemed to be in a bad mood and you hardly got any sleep the night before. You had texted Niall earlier explaining your situation and had yet to hear back from him. With a sigh, you got into your car and began the long drive home. It was rush hour so traffic was moving really slow. All you wanted was to get home and relax. But what you really wanted was Niall. He always had ways of making you forget your bad day. You pulled into the driveway and groggily made your way up to the front door. With a yawn you unlocked the door and threw your bag onto the floor, not caring where it landed. You were about to walk into the kitchen when the sound of the bathtub running caught your attention. Slowly you approached the bathroom, peeking around the corner. There was Niall, his back to you as he poured the bubbles into the water. Candles were set up all around the rim and steam slowly poured over the edge. It looked amazing. Without him hearing you, you walked up behind him and wrapped your arms around his waist, nuzzling your face into his back. You felt his body jump a little before relaxing yet again and turning around so he could hold you back. “Aww, baby don’t cry, it’s okay.” You pulled back and noticed the wet spot on his t-shirt. “I’m so happy you’re home,” you whispered, looking up at his face. “I’m glad to be home. I’m sorry about your day princess.” “It’s okay. The fact that you’re here makes everything better. Thank you for doing this for me Ni.” He smiled and kissed your forehead. You undressed and got into the hot water, sighing in relief as the bubbles wrapped around your body. Niall sat next to the tub and the two of you began to talk. It was the best surprise you had ever gotten.
Zayn: Your birthday was coming up and your boyfriend Zayn was on tour. He wanted to be there for you but management wouldn’t allow him any time off. You both were pretty upset about it but he promised to make it up to you. You couldn’t blame him, it wasn’t his fault. The day finally arrived and you woke up to two of your best friends knocking on your door. You got up and opened it, slightly annoyed that they would wake you up early, especially on your birthday. “What do you guys want?” you said as you answered the door. “Oh don’t be so grumpy! We’re taking you shopping and then we’re getting our hair and nails and makeup done and it’s going to be the best birthday you’ve ever had!” one exclaimed, way too excited for this hour. “Couldn’t this have waited another hour?” you sighed. “Nope! Now get dressed, our first appointment is in an hour.” She pushed you towards your bedroom and you quickly got dressed. The rest of the day was spent running around town for different appointments. First you got your hair done, then makeup, then nails and finally your friends took you to a small boutique and made you pick out a dress. You found a beautiful green dress that came to about mid-thigh. It was quite comfortable and light and accented your skin tone nicely. You also found a nice pair of black heels that went with the dress. “You have to change in the bathroom here, because we’re taking to out for dinner right after,” your friend explained as you walked out of the store, bag in hand. “You mean I don’t even get to go home and change?” you asked. They both shook their heads and led you to the bathroom. You figured it wasn’t worth arguing with them. You changed in the small cramped stall, checked your makeup and hair, put your shoes on and went out to meet your friends. “Aww! (Y/N)! You look gorgeous!” one of your friends squealed. You rolled your eyes playfully. “So where are we going to eat? I’m starving!” you asked. Your friends looked at each other and smiled. They looked back at you with devilish grins and grabbed you, bringing you out to the car and throwing you in the back seat. “Jeez guys!” you huffed. They kept quiet the whole drive, occasionally sharing a giggle. You were beginning to wonder what they had done. The three of you pulled up in front of a small but extravagant restaurant. It had the dark, candlelit atmosphere. It was some place a couple would come, not three girls. In fact that’s all there was… couples. “Guys… it’s just couples,” you said, feeling out of place. Your friends stayed quiet as they led you further into the restaurant. For as small as it looked, it was pretty lengthy. You finally got to a secluded part of the restaurant. First they bring you to a romantic restaurant, then they bring you to a table alone in the corner. It had to be the most romantic table in the joint and you sure as hell weren’t going to share it with your friends. “Guy’s this is weird,” you mumbled, turning around to confront them. But they were gone. ‘Seriously?’ you thought, not knowing what to do. You turned around, but you weren’t alone anymore. “Z-Zayn?” you stuttered. “Happy birthday babe!” he cheered, wrapping his arms around your waist and picking you off the ground. “I thought you were supposed to be on tour?!” “I was! But do you really think I would miss my boo’s birthday? Never in a million years!” A wide grin spread across your face as he leaned down to kiss you. “Happy birthday (Y/N),” he whispered against your lips, taking in the moment with you.
Louis: You were sitting in your room, studying for an upcoming exam. It was a fairly warm day, so your bedroom window was propped open. Everything had been so quiet since Louis left. Every time you would try to have quiet study sessions like this, he would waltz in, close your book and make you come do something more exciting with him. Never a dull moment with him and you missed that. You just missed him all together. You were sitting at your desk trying to get some math concept down. But it just wasn’t happening. You threw down the pencil and huffed in frustration. Suddenly, your phone buzzed, notifying you had a text. When you saw it was from your boyfriend, your face immediately lit up. ‘Since when do you lock the door so early??’ the text read. You looked at it confused. ‘How would you know the doors locked…’ you replied. ‘Just come unlock the door babe.’ You finally came to realization. Louis was here! You got up from your desk and ran as fast as you could. You flung open the front door and grabbed onto Louis before he even had a moment to comprehend what was going. “Woah! Hey there to you too!” he said sarcastically but jokingly. You stepped back a little, a giant spread across both your faces. “I missed you Lou…” You were absolutely beaming. “I missed you so much (Y/N).” The two of you shared a passionate, much missed kiss before he picked up his bag and went inside. “I’m exhausted,” he yawned, plopping down on the couch. You came and sat next to him. “Do you wanna just throw in a movie and we can sleep down here?” “Sounds amazing,” he sighed contently. You put in the movie and brought down a blanket. He was asleep before the movie had even started but that was okay. Because he was home and back in your arms where he belonged.
