"Oak!" I shrieked
"Someone call the ambulance!" I screamed as I jumped to Oak's side.
No one made an effort to move, and I whipped out my cellphone. I dialled 000 and anxiously waited for them to pick up.
"Triple zero, which service do you require?"
"Ambulance! Police! I don't know! My boyfriend is dying, he was attacked!"
"Please stay calm ma'am and stay on the line."
How in the world was I supposed to stay calm?? I desperately tried to put the chocolate milk back into Oak but I couldn't help but feel it was no use.
Eventually the ambulance arrived, and I was so thankful for it.
"He's here!" I yelped
Suddenly the paramedics looked down and saw Oak. One laughed and one looked angry. I didn't understand.
"Expect to get a fine for wasting our time." the angry one told me
"What?? My boyfriend was just attacked by her!" I shouted, pointing at Charlotte
They weren't listening and they continued to walk away.
Oak was murdered! They didn't care that the love of my life was murdered!
I fell to the ground, crying more than I ever have.
