People had cooled down now thanks to Chris. He was a great friend.
I sat next to Oak and Chris, munching on my sandwich. I looked at Oak and smiled. He was always there for me from the day I met him. Oak looked after me and I looked after him. I had him and that was all I needed to survive.
Maybe Oak wasn't the best at soccer, but I didn't care.
Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Charlotte, a girl I believed was Chris' best friend.
"Can I talk to you?" she asked me, not even bothering to sound nice
I grabbed Oak and followed her to a more private area.
"If this is because you're jealous of me hanging out with Chris, I have a boyfriend." I told her
Charlotte laughed.
"That's not what this is about. I love Chris a lot, but I know how much he loves you. Do you any idea how much you're hurting him?"
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Chris despises Oak. But he loves you and he's waiting for you to realise it. Oak doesn't love you back, I hate to break it to you. Christopher could give you so much more."
Tears were strolling down her cheeks. I didn't care about how much she cared for him, I wasn't going to let go of Oak.
"I'm not interested." I replied and started to walk away
Charlotte grabbed my arm and turned me around.
"Not so fast. "
Without warning her hand slammed Oak to the ground. He splattered against the concrete, chocolate milk going everywhere.
