Saba and Sana had a teary good-bye. Actually, Saba was crying while Sana was cool. She felt slightly emotional parting from her sister. Mrs. Shah wanted to hug Sana as well, but she bid her a dry good-bye. She noticed her smile fade but didn't bother. She turned around and walked away dragging her luggage.
Irritably, Sana clicked her tongue as she checked her watch. She had called for a cab fifteen minutes ago and it has still not arrived. She adjusted her bug-eyed sunglasses and folded her arms. As she tapped her feet a car stopped in front of her. She frowned straightening. She got slightly worried and looked around. The tinted glasses rolled down and a familiar face peeked from inside.
'Sana.'
She relaxed on seeing Daanish. She then looked at the red car he had.
'Where are you going?' He asked her and then his gaze fell on her luggage, - 'Airport?'
Sana nodded, - 'I had called for a cab but-' She shrugged raising her arms. Daanish nodded.
'Come. I will drop you.' He said.
Pop! Maan mein ladoo phoota – Sana mentally grinned
(Getting happy)
But outwardly she shook her head. 'No, I don't want to trouble you, just for me-'
'No, Sana there is no trouble. I insist. Come, hop in.' He gestured with his head. Sana suppressed a grin as she nodded. Daanish came out of the car and walked towards the back bonnet. Sana dragged her luggage to the back of the car. She noted Daanish had changed from his morning clothes. He wore a blue printed beach shirt, top few buttons were opened and Sana had a good view of his chest that peeked from underneath his shirt. Along with the shirt he wore white Bermuda shorts that reached his knees. The half sleeve of his shirt was too tight. Sana watched his biceps flex as he picked up her luggage and placed it inside. He closed the bonnet and Sana was snapped out from her staring session. He looked at her and said, - 'Come.' He gestured towards the passenger seat. Sana nodded and hurriedly walked towards the seat.
'You got a car here?' Sana asked curiously.
'Yes.'- Daanish replied adjusting the rear-view mirror, he then looked at her, - 'Rented a car. I thought before leaving let me explore the city.' He said.
Sana nodded and then she asked a question that she regretted immediately, - 'Alone?'
Daanish nodded and then smiled, - 'Before I get married and get tied up I want to enjoy my bachelor life.' He said and laughed at his own words. Sana simply smiled awkwardly. She was glad Nadia wasn't tagging along. Daanish asked her to relax and she leaned against her seat. He switched on the radio and a slow romantic song began to play. Sana shifted in her place.
'Ah! My favorite song.' Daanish exclaimed increasing the volume. Sana smiled.
'Good taste.' She complimented.
Daanish looked at her and smiled, - 'Thank you.' He looked away. Sana looked front as well.

Sana didn't want the car ride to end. But sadly, it did. Though throughout the journey the two hardly spoke Sana enjoyed the short ride with Daanish. She couldn't believe her luck. Daanish parked the car. Sana unbuckled her seat belt and noticed him remove his seatbelt. He looked at her and shrugged, - 'What? I will drop you till the gate.' He said. Before Sana could say anything, he had opened his door and stepped out. Sana smiled to herself.
Sana insisted but he doesn't listen and dragged her luggage with him. On the way, he asked her to check her handbag and make sure she got her tickets. Sana nodded and did as he said. They stopped at the gate. Daanish passed her the luggage, he removed his sunglasses and looked at her.
'Thanks, Daanish.' Sana said, gratefully.
'Arey, it is okay.' He said. Then after a pause, he added, - 'Have a safe flight and text me when you reach there.'
Sana nodded and then she was about to leave when she turned to face him again, - 'But I don't have your number.' She said.
They exchanged numbers. Sana was on the seventh sky as she saved his number
Daanish
She waved at him good-bye and he waved back. Then she turned around walking inside. But at the doorstep, she turned back and found Daanish walking away. She doesn't feel disappointed. Everything that happened was nothing less than good luck.

The flight from Goa to Mumbai was a short one and Sana spent the journey staring out from the window and reminiscing the car journey with Daanish. Many times, she also checked her contacts and smiled staring at his number.
Once she stepped out of the Mumbai gate she called Saba and informed her about her arrival. After they spoke, Sana checked her contacts again. She bit her lower-lip contemplating if she should inform Daanish.
He had asked so sweetly. I think I should.
But it could be out of chivalry he said it and if I call him he might think I am chipkoo?
Nah! I think I will just text him.
Sana: Hey, Daanish. Just landed in Mumbai. The journey was good.
She waited a minute for his reply before tugging the phone into the back pocket of her shorts. Then, she looked ahead and walked towards the taxi stand.
After Sana had found a cab and got into it, her phone beeped. Excitedly, she took out her phone. A smile appeared on her face reading Daanish's message. He had even used an emoji in the last. She shifted folding her arms and stared out of the window. A musical tune, the one from the radio, played in her head as she enjoyed the view of the city.
