By the time, Sana reached home her whole body ached. She was very sweaty too. Somehow, she struggled to walk up to her bed. She stood in front of the bed, opened her arms and dropped face down on the bed.

'Ahh...' Her groan was muffled by the blanket.

After she felt slightly better she decided to take a bath. She was sweating like a pig and so, there was no other option. She grabbed her clothes, loose grey Looney Tunes Tee and white and pink cotton shorts. The warm water rejuvenated her, and she felt relaxed. Sitting in the warm water for twenty minutes also soothed her sore body.

Who the heck does so much exercise on the first day – Sana thought while shaking her head. She recollected how excited she was to join Daanish in the park and now she mentally slapped herself for that.

Next time I will make some excuse – She made up her mind.

After the warm water bath, Sana dried her hair and sipped some Chamomile tea. Good, she had an unopen packet lying somewhere in the kitchen cabinet and she accidentally stumbled upon it. It was supposed to reduce stress and truly Sana felt tranquil.

After her tea, she jumped on her bed and snuggled into her blanket. That afternoon she had the most wonderful sleep of her life.

TRING...TRING.... TRING.

Sana groaned pulling out her hand from the blanket. She searched for her phone on the bedside table. She almost dropped it but before any accident, she managed to hold it firmly. She picked it up and pulled her hand back into the blanket.

'Hello!' She said groggily.

'Sana are you sleeping?' Alishba's voice came from the other side. Sana mentally groaned. She wanted to sleep but now Alishba's never-ending talks will start.

'Speak up, this is important.' Alishba said. There was an unusual urgency in her voice.

'Yeah, yeah.' Sana rubbed her eyes and slowly sat up on the bed. She leaned against the bedpost and rested her head on it.

Alishba sighed, - 'Can you check on Bhai please.' She said, and Sana's eyes opened. She shifted in her place.

'What happened to him?' Sana asked, concerned.

'Nothing serious. Bhai fell from the stairs-', She giggled and then continued, - 'He broke his ankle. Neighbors had called an ambulance and he is in the hospital.'

'What!' Sana was shocked.

'What? Have you been dead? So much commotion happened, and you didn't know.' Alishba sounded amused.

Sana sat up on her knees and slapped her forehead. Seriously, she had slept like a dead log.

'Okay. I will check on him.' Sana replied and cut the call. Still, she can't believe she slept so deeply that she didn't wake up with the sound of the ambulance siren. Her locality was quiet and any such loud sound was bound to echo. She groaned and fell back on the bed.

Damn!

Sana changed into her casuals, sleeveless floral knee-length summer dress. She combed her hair, grabbed her keys, wallet and mobile. She stuffed her wallet and mobile into her handbag and stepped out of the apartment. She locked the apartment door and adjusted the sling of her handbag.

Luckily, she got a cab ride to the hospital. She leaned on the seat and glanced at her wristwatch. It was 9 pm.

They reached the hospital within fifteen minutes. Sana paid the driver and climbed down the cab. She adjusted the sling of her handbag once again as walked into the hospital.
