One month flew by very quickly for Sana. Initially, she missed India and the time she spent at Alishba's engagement. More than anyone she missed Daanish. But with the time flying, she got busy with her work. Occasionally, she spoke with Alishba and Saba on phone but talking with Daanish was merely good morning and good night which eventually ended.
One day, as Sana worked in her cabin there was a knock at the door.
'Come in.' She replied not looking up from her trace papers.
'Maam.'
Sana looked up when she heard Emma's voice. 'There is someone who wants to meet you.' She informed.
'Who? If they are important then only I will meet them.'
Emma nodded. 'Someone by the name Daanish.'
Sana froze. Slowly, she looked up at Emma. 'Who?'
'Daanish.'
Sana felt her heart jump to her throat. Daanish, here? She simply blinked at Emma.
'Well?' Emma spoke after a minute had passed. Sana shook her head and straightened in her seat.
'Ask him to wait I will come in five minutes.' She said. Emma nodded and left the cabin. After she had gone, Sana turned around her wheeled office chair. A wide smile on her face as she placed her palm on her chest.
'Oh-My-God.' She breathed. Still, she couldn't believe Daanish was here. It was unexpected and a very pleasant surprise.
After a moment to herself, Sana turned around and got up from her seat.
She pulled out the pencil from her hair, grabbed her keepall bag and hurriedly left her cabin.

Sana dashed into the washroom, thankfully it wasn't fully occupied. Quickly, she relieved herself and walked to the washbasin. She splashed water on her face and quickly wiped it with tissue. She rummaged through her bag and took out a comb. She felt thankful she had short hair and was done quickly. She then took out Kohl and lip balm. After doing her touch up she adjusted the long lacy sleeves of Maroon sweatshirt and pulled up the waist of her black denim. She adjusted the long chick chain. She zipped her bag and scurried out of the washroom.
Sana felt her heartbeat increase as she walked towards the guest waiting room. A million thoughts clouded her mind. The most important one, why was he here?
She paused in front of the door and glanced up at the nameplate above the door.
WAITING ROOM
She looked down again and took a deep breath. Clenching the door handle tightly she pushed open the door.
There was only one person in the room, a man in dark blue shirt and denim. Sana noticed the sleeves of his shirt pulled up till his elbow, she eyed the vein on his forearm as she walked towards him.
She cleared her throat, - 'Daanish.'
He looked up at her and smiled. 'Sana.' He adjusted his thin-rimmed black wayfarer glasses.
Should I shake hands or hug him? – Sana debated with herself.
'How are you doing?' He asked tugging his palms into his jeans pockets.
Damn!
She quickly adjusted her expressions and smiled, - 'I am fine. But I am surprised to see you here.'
Daanish nodded. 'Yes. I got transferred to London branch. Nadia is trying to shift here too.' – Sana's smile dropped, - 'But for now it is only me. And the first person who came to mind at the mention of London was you. So-', - He raised his arms, - 'I am here.' He smiled.
Sana felt happy that Daanish had been transferred to London and double happy that Nadia hasn't accompanied him.
Sana asked him to sit while she ordered some tea for him and her. After she had called for snacks she sat beside him on the chair. He looked at her. Sitting so close to him made Sana's heart flutter.
To distract herself she questioned him about when he landed here and about his accommodations.
'Came to London just yesterday. But accommodations-' He sighed softly slapping his thigh with his palm, - 'Have to look for some decent one.' He looked at Sana. She looked up at him.
'I can help you with that.' She said.
Daanish looked visibly relieved but was being formal. Sana insisted. She stated that she knew the place better than him. Daanish gave up. Sana smiled. Just then, tea arrived.
Sana picked up one cup and forwarded it to him. As he took the cup, his fingertip brushed against hers and Sana quickly retracted her hand. The cup nearly dropped on him, but his reflexes were good.
'Sorry.' Sana apologized, looking at the cup wide-eyed. Daanish smiled.
'Arey, it is okay. Narrow escape.' He said lightly. Sana was glad he wasn't upset. The two silently had their tea. Occasionally, Sana stole glances at him and when he caught her gaze she smiled and quickly looked away. To avoid awkward silence Daanish asked about her work. Sana blushed as he complimented her office. She also suggested she showed him around, she knew that will be breaking rules, but she was willing to take the risk. Daanish refused and she didn't force him. In return, she asked about his work. She admired him as he spoke. Her gaze fixed on his moving lips, but she could hardly focus on what he was speaking. She felt transported to some other world. A dreamy smile on her face.
