You got interrupted by another notification. Zac replied to your comment. 'haha ya me too💕' you wiped your eyes even more and desired to text him

You: Hey x that pic was so funny
Z: Hey hah ya just found it
You: cool
Z: So how are you x
You: Good I guess
Z : Good
You: You in town?
You regretted sending it as soon as it sent and he read it
Z: actually yes, you want to grab a coffee and catch up?
You smiled so big and jumped up yelling "YESSSS" you danced around and replied
You: yea sure. How about 8 tomorrow?
Z: Sure
You: okay great see ya then
Z: ❤️
You left it there and smiled to yourself and then thought about how amazing it would be for you and Zac to be back together. You snap back to reality and roll your eyes. You and Zac didn't work once what makes you think your going to work again?

You woke up and smiled to yourself and turned around in your bed and checked your phone. It was loaded with comments about you and Zac and even your best friend reached out and texted you saying "HAS ZAC REALIZED HE LOVED YOU AGAIN?!" You laughed and responded back with a 'not yet!🤞🏻' you looked at you and Zac's messages and got all
excited and check the time "7:06". "SHIT" you said jumping out of bed and grabbed a quick shower. When you came out you decided to be cute but casual. You picked a pair of black leggings and pink crop toppy hoodie that showed part of your stomach. You put your wet hair in a messy bun and walked out. You haven't seen Zac since your break up , you saw photos and such but not in person. You walked in  and spotted him right away. He was a lot more muscular, he cut his hair shorter no more of the longer cut, he looked a lot more mature. He sat and looked at his phone with sunglasses on and a pair of jeans and a red top. His hair was up and messy which was new to you. You couldn't bring yourself to watch his new movies Charlie St. Cloud because that was the movie that caused you to break up in the first place. You walked over nervously and said "hi" Zac looked up and said "omg y/n hi!" He got up and hugged you. You were shocked by how much more muscular he was. "You look amazing!" Zac said admiring you. You smiled and relaxed "you do to" you both ordered and decided to walk instead of sit. At first the convos were small and short and awkward as anything until Zac brought up the break up "so...how are things looking after we...broke things off" you looked at him and said "you can say break up" Zac nodded a little taken back. "Not much, I dated a guy, Tom Holland...he was cute and nice and stuff but like, I don't know, things didn't work out". Zac nodded and sipped his coffee and said " I haven't dated anyone since..." you looked at him  and laughed a little and said "really. You. But your so..." you cut yourself short and blushed deep. Zac smirked and said "so....what?" You looked at your feet "I mean your hot Zac. I dated you so I can say that" Zac laughed and said "since you dated me it means you can do things others can't" you laughed with him and said "exactly" Zac shook his head and said "I missed you y/n. A lot." You got quiet and said "well, you didn't need to if you just stayed." Zac looked at you and stopped walking. "Do you really think I was going to let that opportunity get away?!" Zac said taken back. You looked up at him and said "I wasn't saying that I was....never mind...." you said turning around. Zac got concerned and said "y/n

I..I...I'm sorry" you turned back around and said "for what" Zac looked at you and said softly "for hurting you. I know I did. And I felt horrible and upset please believe I did. That's is why I posted that pic. Because I knew if I just texted you then you wouldn't answer" you smiled up at him and said "I would have. But yea I was heartbroken" Zac started to say "let me make it up to —" his phone started to ring and you remembered it happening all the time when you were a couple. You sighed and Zac said "I...kinda have to go....but I will be in touch with you" you nodded with tears in your eyes and before he could see you wiped them away. He hugged you and kissed you quickly and lightly on the cheek and walked off fast. You were taken off guard when he did that and you stood there upset thinking of how you just let him get away for the second time.
