chapter 32

Zac catches you. Still in shock. All he could remember was you screaming very truthful things at him. He screwed up. It wasn't your fault that his mom told him. If anything Zac should be mad at his mom and dad. He picked you up and carried you bridal style. You were bleeding intensely and he was worried you passed out due to lack of blood. He put you in the back of the car laying you down.

"It's going to be okay hang in there baby girl." Zac said with a tear down his cheek and kissed your forehead.

Zac drove to the hospital as quick as he could. He was terrified and he was upset. What a hypocrite he thought to himself as he wiped a tear away. Why would I ever tell her that?! Your such an idiot! We're thoughts going through his head. He swerved into the hospital parking lot and ran it without you to get help.

"HELP SHS BLEEDING!" Zac yelled running into the place.

2 doctors came over and got a stretcher following Zac. He opened the door and they brought her in. Zac was close behind them. They stopped him before they went into the main hospital.

"This is as far as you can go sir."
"NO!"
"Sir, you can not come in here."
"She's carrying my baby! Please!"
"She's pregnant?"
"Yes!"
"How far along?"
"HOW DOS THIS HAVE TO DO WITH HER HEALTH!"
"sir how far along!"
"Almost 4 months."

The doctor ran into the room yelling "PAGE DR. SMITH SHE IS THE HEAD OF PEADS!" the doctors came back out and assured Zac that everything would be fine. Zac sat down in the waiting room and waited and waited.

After about 4 hours the doctor of a name of Dr. Smith came out and offered Zac to come into her office. She sat down. Her hair was a soft red, wavy, she had green eyes and very tall. He stayed standing.

"WHERE IS SHE!" Zac yelled taking the Doctor off guard.

"Sir. Sit. Down." She said sternly

"Is she okay?" Zac asked about to cry and sitting down

"Miss Y/N is a strong girl. Her appendix exploded causing it to rupture part of her uterus. We did an appendectomy on her and taking her appendix out. The bad news is we couldn't save one of your babies. She had a miscarriage with one but the other is perfectly fine because it was on the other side of her uterus."

"One? We only had one though?" Zac asked confused but feeling dead inside.

"Sir you didn't know you were going to have twins?" She asked

"No...." Zac said starting to cry

"It wasn't that far along...I'm so sorry Mr. Efron."

"Thank you Dr. Smith, you did everything you could." Zac said sniffing

"She's in her room, she was put under a lot of anesthesia, she might now wake up for a few days. Also we have to monitor the baby and her so she has to do a few tests while down under. I have a question the last time she had surgery, did they give her too much anesthesia?" The doctor asked taking down notes

"Yes ma'am. Please I don't want that to happen again to her. And okay I will sign off on anything if it means she and the baby will be okay." Zac said still wiping tears

"Yes it seems that her body can't take in as much as the normal body can so that's why it takes her so long to wake up. Do you want to see her?" She asks standing up.

"Yes very much." Zac said standing as well and walking with the doctor

They walked into a bigger room than normal. Zac saw you and began to cry. You were sleeping on your back the little bump form your stomach under the sheets. You had two big machines hooked up, one for the baby, one for you. Zac walked over to you and stroked your cheek crying. He then leaned down and kissed your forehead and whispered "I'm sorry". He then sat down and the doctor left. Zac called all relatives to tell them that she was okay and what happened. He then went home and grab some clothes for her when she wakes up. He walked into the kitchen were they had their fight not more than 5 hours ago and saw some blood on the floor. He cried as he cleaned it up and then went to get clothes for you. He messed up. All he could think about was if he didn't get mad at her maybe things would have been different. He could have helped her and maybe the other baby could have been saved. He knows that when you wake up you will be mad at him. He also knows hat you will be upset and need someone. He grabbed a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt and just a pair of socks and slides. He called dylan to tell him what happened.

"Heellllllo"
"Dyl!"
"Hey man. I'm sorry what happened earlier."
"It's not your fault bro"
"I know I just feel really bad about it."
"It's okay."
"So you and y/n are having a baby?!"
"Dyl y/n is in the hospital. Her appendix bursted making one of our babies have a miscarriage.."
"Omg is she okay?"
"She's okay now. She's still under but okay. And so is the other baby."
"Zac you were supposed to have twins?!"
"Yes"
"When did you find out?"
"When the doctor said we lost one."
"Aw man I'm sorry."
"it's okay I'm upset but it's okay."
"Do you want me to come down for anything?"
"No it's okay. I'll call you for updates okay?"
"Yes please do that Z."
"I will"
"Love you man"
"Love you too"

Zac then hung up and grabbed his bag for you of clothes and got back in the car to the hospital. He walked into the hospital and got to your room. He sat down and held your hand. Just then a loud beeping sound came from the machine for her not the baby. A few doctors rushed in and took her away.

"Shit." Zac said standing up.
