chapter 38

"ZAC!" You yell running downstairs with a crying baby in your hands

"Y/n? What are you doing?" Zac says turning to face you holding a gun out in front of him, just fired at something.

"What are you do?!" You scream

"Bring the baby upstairs, NOW!" He says commanding you.

You cry and bring Lily upstairs like your boyfriend said. You lock her in her room just in case and walk back downstairs and outside to Zac. He was still standing in the same position and looked terrified.

"Explain to me what the fuck you are doing." You said crossing your arms

"Someone was trying to break in. I heard it so I grabbed my shot gun and chased him out. I shot it to scare him off." Zac said lowering the gun and putting it on safe.

"Zac....thank you." You said worrying about your baby upstairs

"Anything for you and Lily." Zac said getting closer to you

"I-I have to go. I have to get up early. I don't want you sleeping down here....sleep in our bed, I'm sleeping in Lily's room." You said looking down. 

"Okay, whatever you want." Zac said rubbing the back of his neck like he did when he was embarrassed.

"Okay, goodnight." You said still shook from what just happened

"Night." Zac said as you left him outside.

"Lilyyyy baby girlll daddy's hereee." Zac said walking into Lily's room the next morning. You slept in and we're late for work, still sleeping in Lily's room. He woke you and was shocked when he saw you.

"Y/n? What are you doing here?" Zac said helping you up off the ground and picking Lily up in his arms. She started to giggle as Zac kissed her all over.

"Shit! I slept in!" You said changing and rubbing out of the house without even saying goodbye

At lunch there was something on the news about a group of people breaking into houses and they were trying to find them. You and Zac were fighting and not speaking at the worst time. You needed to talk to him. You checked his messages for the first time since you fought.

Baby💙: y/n I'm sorry
Baby💙: y/n
Baby💙: please answer
Baby💙: call me please

You: do you have a few minutes?

Baby💙: yes of course

Baby💙 is calling

"Hey"
"Hey"
"Listen I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have acting like I didn't care, I did, I did so much. Then the people were trying to break in and all I thought was something happening to you and Lily and I love you guys so much and I almost lost you once and I can't lose you again."
"Zac, Zac, ZAC!" You say trying to get him to stop talking
"What..."
"I love you too."
"*sigh*"
"I over reacted just a little. I was so pissed. We can't fight about this stuff right now when people are trying to break in."
"Ya I know. We're parents now. Where probably going to fight more often now."
"That's okay. Because we will always love each other."
"That's right. No matter how much I'm mad at you I will always love you."
"Me too. I have to go but I'll see you later."
"Okay love you."
"Bye love you"
