Friday couldn't come fast enough. You went shopping with your best friend and got a beautiful dress and shoes. The dress was very fancy so you texted him just to see

'Zac, for the date do you want fancy or very fancy😂'

'Very fancy😉😂'

'Okayy xx'

You smiled and put it on. You curled your hair and when you were done you sat on the couch and waited for Zac. The time read "8:58" and the bell rang. You got up and opened it reveling Zac in a slick black suit and tie. His hair was messy but cute. You smiled and he smiled back "you look gorgeous" you laughed and said "you can't say that. We're not dating.." Zac smirked "not yet.." you blushed and pretended not to hear that. You got in Zac's car and a rush of memories came back to you. You looked up and saw exactly what you thought you would. Lipstick.
*FLASHBACK*
"Zac stop moving the car so muchhh I'm going to mess up" you said laughing. Zac laughed and swerved more and you screamed "BABY" Zac laughed even harder and said "don't worry I got you" you took out red lipstick and started to put it on when Zac accidentally hit a pot hole in the road. The lipstick flew out of your hand and hit the top of the car sticking up there. You gasped and said "Zac I'm so sorry" Zac laughed and pulled over. "To fine" he unblocked and took it off the car and gave it back to you laughing a little. "Here you go" you laughed and said "it's no use now" Zac laughed and said "yes it is" he put some on you and you laughed at how bad he did "we have to go out baby" Zac laughed "it's fine here." He handed a napkin to you and kissed your head. You wiped some off and then kissed him. His lips were red from the gloss and you laughed wiping it off him.
*FLASHBACK OVER*
The stain never came off. You felt like crying wanting so much to reinact that right now. You looked over at him driving and said "you look nice tonight" Zac smiled and said "thanks" you sat in awkward silence the rest of the way and then when you got there Zac said "shall we?" You smiled and said "we shall" he opened the door for you and reached for your hand. You hesitated but took it. It was warm and muscular just like you remember. Your dinner was great. You walked back to the car laughing about something when Zac turned to you "I liked the no phone idea." You nodded in agreement and said "thank you so much for dinner" Zac smiled and said "no problem". He started to lean in to kiss you and you wanted to kiss back but moved away "we can't." Zac was taken back and said "why not" you sighed and said "because Zac we didn't work out before. What makes you think we're going to work out now" Zac grabbed you hand and said "I've changed. We changed. things have changed in the past 2 years. We were kids then and didn't know what long distance was. Or how to do it. But now we do and we can make it work. Come on y/n. I'm home for a year and whole year. I came back for you..." he said the last part quietly and you had tears in your eyes "I love you zac. I will never stop but I can't put myself through that again." You let go of him and started to walk off and leave him standing there when you stopped in your tracks and thought to yourself "no. Don't let him get away again." You turned back around and ran back over to him in your heels and smashed your lips against his. He was taken back but gently put his hand on your back. (Hsm3 kiss) you pulled away both smiling and you said against his forehead "fuck it." Zac smiled and kissed you again pulling you in the car.
