Chapter 7

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY DAD?!" You yelled making your best friend run into your room.
"He...he had a heart attack in the middle of the night sweetie. It was so sudden baby I'm sorry. " your mom said sobbing. You crashed on your bed sobbing. You and your dad were very close and he helped you so much with your break up. You felt empty.

Your best friend tried to do everything to help you but you wouldn't listen. You wouldn't leave the couch and cried so much there were no more tears to cry.

Zac ran up to the house and knocked on the door. Your best friend opened the door and said "omg thank god you came" she said hugging him. "What's wrong? I got a text from y/n...something about needing me?" She looked down "it was me. She won't talk, leave to couch, shower, eat,nothing" Zac ran past her and saw you on the couch "heyyy what's wrong?" You looked at him and then looked back at the tv and then back in his beautiful worried blue eyes. You hugged him and said "my....dad....died..." Zac hugged you tighter and said "omg I'm so sorry!" You cried and he lovingly said "shhhh it's okay it's okay. We will get through this y/n it's okay". Your cried harder and your best friend watch as you guys hugged each other and he cuddled you. She smiled and quickly took a pic of you guys. You fell asleep in his arms and he was talking to your best friend.

Z: When did he pass?
bsf: I think in his sleep last night
Z: I see....
bsf: do you loved her?
Z: I think so...
he said looking down at you and then kissing your head as your squirmed a little in his arms.
bsf: you think so or you know so?
Z: I know so. She's amazing, and I want her back so bad
bsf: she told me she wanted you to prove it to her
Z: Isn't this proving enough though?!
bsf: not if you actually love her
Z: ..... yea your right
bsf: trust me....your proving it. Your the only one who she showed any affection too.
Z: *smiles* I hope so
bsf: *pats his shoulder* trust me. I would know..*winks*
Z: you know something I don't? *laughs*
bsf: maybe
You woke up and looked up at Zac. "Hey how are you?" Zac said in a motherly voice. You shook your head in his chest. "I feel empty" Zac kissed your head and said "it's going to be okay. We will get through this together okay?" You nodded and just sat there in silence.

*2 weeks later*

"Zac said he was taking me out to dinner tonight!!!!" You screamed to your best friend. "Oooooooooo" She said making googly eyes at you and then turned around and pretended to make out with herself. "shut up!" You said laughing. She laughed and said "come on we need to get your outfit!"

You wore a light pink dress and a white leather jacket. You put your hair in 2 Dutch braids and did your make up perfectly. Zac came to the door in a pair of light blue jeans and a blue button up. His hair was combed back. "Shall we?" You smiled at him and he thought to himself, 'boy I missed that smiled' "we shall" You said giggling.

He intwined your fingers and guided you to the car. You ordered a burger with fries and Zac ordered a chicken sandwich with salad. It was delicious and you have a great time talking and laughing. "So, how are you? With your dad and everything". You looked in his worried eyes and said "umm..better. I ry not to think about it but I'm going to his funeral in a few weeks. That will be hard but other then that I tell myself. He wouldn't want me to be upset so I'm not going to be upset so much that my life is over." Zac smiled and held your hand on the table. "I'm proud of you". You smiled and blushed deep. After dinner you and Zac decided to go see a movie that was playing outside in the park. You say down on a blanket and he put his arm around you. you leaned against a rock and just watched the movie. By the end of the movie you were fast asleep on Zac. He didn't know this and said "y/n it's the end, let's go before the crowd.." he looked down at you and said "y/n?" You didn't move. Zac smiled and picked you up. You put your legs around his waist and he held you by your bottom. your arms were tightly wrapped around his neck and you were sleeping on his shoulder. He placed you in the car and and drove to his house. You were still asleep so Zac just picked you up like before and brought you inside.

He carried you to his bedroom and laid you on the bed. He whispered in your ear "y/n you have to get out of your dress" you moaned and Zac just took it off for you. He tried to find a t shirt for you and then put you in it.

He tucked you in and kissed your head. He then got in the bed and fell asleep with his arms tightly around you.
