Chapter 11

Matt brought Zac into a room where his daughter was laying. She was fragile but he could see the fight in her. She was talking to her mom and he heard her say "Mom guess what Zac Efron is making?!" Zac laughed a little and Matt turned around and said "I'll tell you when to come in okay?" Zac nodded and he walked in. Matt ask him in and the girl started to cry and sat up "omg omg your Zac Efron omg" Zac laughed and hugged her lightly. "I'm lily" she said wiping her eyes "What a beautiful name!" Zac said trying to fake a smile hiding that all he was thinking about was you.

He talked for a while with lily when he got a call from the doctor saying you were put in a room. "I'm so sorry but I have to go check on....my girlfriend...I'll see you later okay?" Lily nodded and hugged him again and Matt walked out with Zac and then both exchanged phone numbers to stay in touch.

Zac ran to your room "Room 14" he whispered as he looked for it. The doctor met you outside and said "Mr. Efron hello y/n is still asleep but doing well" Zac walked in and wiped his eyes when he saw you. You were sleeping with 2 machines hooked up to you and the cut had been stitched up. Your leg was in a cast and you had wrap around your chest. He walked over and grabbed your hand and kissed it. The doctor left and Zac lost it again.

"God damn it. I should have picked you up" Zac whispered angrily beating himself up. "God I should have pick you....up..." Zac said crying harder.

Your best friend walked in and said "oh y/n" she went over and kissed your head and looked at Zac who was trying to hide the fact that he was crying.

"Are you okay?"

"NO. NO IM NOT OKAY" Zac yelled at your best friend causing her to step back taken back from his tone.

"It's not your fault Zac!"

*crying* "yes it is! I should have picked her up. If I picked her up or I left my house 2 minutes earlier I could have been ME! I deserve this! Not her. Not her sweet little self. She did nothing wrong! It should have been me!" Zac said

"Zac.....nothing could have prevented this....it was going to happen.....you can't explain these things but the universe choose her"

Zac looked at her with red eyes and said "I love her."

You best friend smiled and said "oh I know"

She sat down next to Zac and let him cry on her.

They both fell asleep.

*Next Day*

Door nocking

Zac sat up and rubbed his eyes. He looked over and saw your best friend fast asleep on the other side of the couch. Your mom came running in and said "Omg!" Zac explained everything to her and she cried on Zac "I lost my husband. I can't lose my baby" Zac hugged her tighter and said "Were not going to lose her. I won't let it happen"

Later on that day Zac was sitting with you talking to you like you could hear him.

"your mom came by today....she was upset about you but I told her you would be fine. You have to wake up y/n you have too. Please. I need you. I need you so much." He said grabbing your hand and caressing it softly.

The doctor came in and check her.

"She still hasn't woken up doc"
"That's okay"
"Do you have any idea when she will?!"
"No sir. I'm sorry. Why don't you go home and get some rest"
"No I'm not leaving"
"Sir you've been here for 48 hours...more then that now!"
"I don't care" Zac said looked at you.
"Okay if you wish"
The doctor left and Zac was annoyed by him. First telling him that when you woke up that you might not even remember him and now telling him to go home. Ugh.

Zac was watching "Game Of Thrones" on the tv. It was 11:23pm and he looked over at you and grabbed your hand. You suddenly held it back slightly and Zac said "Omg" he stood up and looked at you. You opened your eyes softly and blinks a couple of times. "Omg y/n". You looked confused and looked around and then up at Zac. You looked into his wet diamond like eyes and smiled a little.

"Zac?" You said lightly
