They had stayed at the dining table for an hour now, none moving, none talking, well, Taehyung did try to talk to the bunny but was returned with silence so now they remained here, staring at each other.

Taehyung took this as an opportunity to further observe the boy. He was small (In this fanfic Jungkook is smaller that Tae and shorter. Don't judge, it's only a fanfic) in both height and body size. His doe eyes filled with chocolate looked everywhere but the older. His hair a cute mess on his head and his brown, furry ears flopped over his round cheeks.

He was beautiful.

Unrealistically beautiful as if he was a doll, crafted by skillful hands. His milky soft skin imitated porcelain, fragile and delicate, as if a simple touch could shatter him.

Taehyung wouldn't shatter him.

He would make sure to wrap the porcelain in bubble wrap if he need to. Carry it with care and never toss it carelessly. Clean it and polish it until it shined, then keep it in a warm place.

He smiled at the bunny who fiddled with the hem of the sweater.

The younger was terrified.

To be honest, he didn't understand what was happening. Everything was moving too fast from the time he had woken up after a few months of slumber to find himself being carried to a strangers home.

The younger was terrified because he was afraid of people, or more like, too afraid to trust anyone because the people who he trusted, which he could remember from his distorted memory, stabbed him viciously in the back and front.

The sound of the older getting up from his seat, pushing his chair back with a squeak, alerted him. His eyes shot up in fear as he watched the older come near him. His body began to quiver uncontrollably as he let out a whimper.

Is he going to hit me?

Taehyung stared into the watering eyes of the younger, confused. He simply wanted to collect the dishes. Why was he tearing up? Cautiously, he reached for the younger's shoulder, watching as he sank into his sweater, and softly touched it.

"Hey, relax. I'm not going to eat you." Taehyung chuckled but the younger only widened his eyes and shook even more.

"He's going to eat me!?"

Taehyung let go of his shoulder, taking the dishes instead and placed them in the sink before washing them. The bunny signed inwardly before staring at the older's back. Watching him as he scrubbed a dish with too much soap than necessary. He found him strange, though he didn't know if that was a good thing.

Taehyung finished the dishes before turning back to the younger. He stared at his doe eyes before remembering that it was still morning and he hadn't showered yet. The younger hadn't either.

Without words, he approached the bunny and placed his hands under his thighs before picking him up in a front piggyback. The bunny squealed and pushed against him, however, his shoves and kicks where like feathers.
Taehyung found this quiet funny to be honest.

And cute.

He walked up the stairs and into the bathroom, the younger looking at the walls filled with family photos in wonder on their way there, completely forgetting that he was supposed to escape the grip of the older.

Taehyung kicked the bathroom door open before walking in and walked towards the tub. He continued to hold the younger, feeling his soft breaths on his neck, and turned on the tap. The sound of this made the younger jump.
