7# Hybrid

Yoongi didn't know what to think as he stared into the green eyes of what he believed was a creature. From all he's years in the BigHit industry he had encountered many odd things but never in those years had he seen anything so strange but oddly striking. He didn't know what to think.

The creature stared right back at him with deep green eyes, widened in fear as it watched the older's every move, or lack of movement. Orange ears pointed to the sky and tail standing up, the creature watched Yoongi with a racing heart, sweat slowly dripping down it's forehead to its feet, readying itself for a dash out of the possible threat.

Yoongi gulped, hand slowly gripping his groceries unbelievably tight as his other slowly traveled to his pocket, tracing the outline of a gun with his trembling finger, waiting for the creature to move and attack him. His heart beating loudly in his chest as he felt the signs of an adrenaline rush creeping up on him. The same thrill he would feel during a fight gripped his mind, however something foreign and greater gripped his heart, almost paralyzing him. Was this fear? He couldn't tell, instead with his heavy feet he took a step forward only to tense up once again as he saw the creature shuffle back, using the shadows from the parallel buildings as a cloak, only its vibrant orbs peering through the dark.

He held his gun and slowly pulled it out. Thoughts racing though his mind, almost drowning him in his own words of trepidation. He held the gun tighter, lifting it up and pointing it towards the creature, finger on the trigger as he took another step in the alleyway, trying to shield himself in the dark from the passer byers as to not draw unwanted attention to the weapon in his grip.

The green eyes of the beast widened in horror, recognising the object. It took another step behind, body shaking from its ears to its tail. Perspiration increasing as it slowly backed away, almost collapsing on itself from fear as it watched the man get closer. The lingering atmosphere of death getting thicker, chocking it. It let out a soft cry.

Yoongi froze, ears picking up on the sound as his eyes searched the creature in the shadows. From where he now stood, he could faintly see the outline of its ears, flopping downwards on the sides of its face.

Was it afraid?

Maybe Yoongi should leave it alone. It hadn't done anything. Why was he even attacking it?

The thought seemed to echo through his mind as he slowly lowered the gun as well as his guard. He was about to turn back when another sound echo rushed through him from the beast.

A growl.

Yoongi's eyes shot back up at it to see its ears standing up in alert.

It was going to attach him.

That seemed to egg him to raise his gun once again, a grim look on his face as he stared back at the beast, finger nearly pulling the trigger as he watched it move slowly from the dark, an angry glint in its eyes.

Its going to attack! The thought screamed at him as his legs seemed to nail him in place. His eyes focused with the lingering of fear as they watched the creature slowly advance and curve in its shoulders, muscular legs behind it in its crouched down position, tensing. A snarl broke from its throat, paralyzing the man even more.

For good sake Yoongi your are in a gang. Get your ass together and shout that thing! His mind screamed as the beast snarled again. He applied a tiny bit of pressure on the gun as he tried to calm his heart, however that didn't stop his heart from stopping as he watched the beast launch itself at him.

His hands shook in fear as the world seemed to slow down. It was his own stupidity which brought him in this area and pull out his gun. He was the one who had provoked it. Now he was sure he was going to die.
