It had been 2 weeks. 2 weeks since the day he had found the younger and brought him home, and in these two weeks, much to the older's annoyance, the younger had attempted to escape about 5 times.
Yoongi groaned as he roamed around the streets, hands in his jacket pockets as he scanned the area, looking for a particular orange-headed, short-tempered child. He remembered the first time the younger had tried to escape. It was the second day of them staying together and the younger, who announced his name as Jimin, escaped in the sinful times of the morning, breaking through a window since he couldn't open it and making a wild dash to Yoongi's back yard. Yoongi, who was awoken by the noise, jumped out of bed and ran towards the living room to see the fragments of his window which seemed to convince him that there was a robber in the house. Sadly, there wasn't, and it took Yoongi 3 hours to understand the situation and find the younger who was hiding in his flower beds.
Yoongi signed, feeling even more frustrated as he continued to look for the boy. He didn't understand why the younger hated him so much, he didn't do anything. If anything, Jimin should thank him for not killing him in the alleyway 2 weeks ago.....or for not killing him for the attitude he seemed to express towards him.
But instead, Yoongi was returned with glares and snares that always seemed to anger him even more. Where was the thanks for him feeding the younger? Where was the smile for him after he provided clothes and a shelter to the younger? Where was the apology for him after looking for the younger for hours every time he escaped?
Where was it?
Did the younger think that he could just live in Yoongi's house without offering any appreciation?
Yoongi gritted his teeth, folding his hands into tight fists. He felt frustrated because of the younger's actions. Frustrated because of the younger's attitude. Frustrated because the younger didn't even speak to him nicely, look at him nicely.
Frustrated because he cared so much.
Even though he was convinced that he hated Jimin too.
And if Hoseok didn't ask him to do this, he was sure he would have abandoned him a long time ago.
He looked ahead, surfacing from the thick thoughts in his head as he focused on the current agenda, and when he heard a familiar squeaky sneeze coming from an alleyway, Yoongi signed in relief.
He had found him.
In the darks of the narrow alley was the younger, crouching down in an attempt to hide behind the dumpster. The behavior was a mirror image of the past for Yoongi, however unlike 2 weeks ago, Jimin snared at him rather than shying away when he spotted the older.
And this time Yoongi was not frightened but flooded with vexation. He had drawn a line, and Jimin had sashayed over it and now the thread of Yoongi's patience had been snapped, drowning his rationality in a pool of irrational thinking, causing him to do the first thing he thought of....
Grabbing the younger by the collar of his shirt and dragging him home like a dog.
Jimin had no other choice but to follow, the grip on his collar partly restricting his breathing. He felt dizzy, losing his will to fight free as they neared the house. The only thing he could do now was wonder what was going to happen.
Was he going to punished?
How?
Was he going to beat him?
Starve him?
Push his head in a bucket of water?
Or call them?
