Was too stressed about AS levels this month but I finally got my AS level results this week. They were good and I hope whoever got theirs (or any results) did well too.

Here is the update.

Long ass chapter

😾

"I didn't kill Yoongi." He repeated, and Jimin noticed the way his lips shivered, tugging into a small smile on his blood-stained face. "But time will."

Jimin wanted to believe he was dreaming, that he would wake up eventually from this nightmare, wrapped up in Yoongi's arms. He wanted to believe that this wasn't real, that it was a fabrication that he had made up to display his fears, but the more he pinched his skin and the more it hurt, the more real this felt.

Jimin had always thought of himself as a trigger to bad luck considering that his life had been filled with nothing but misfortune and his own shortcomings. It was laughable, if he was being honest, how his unluckiness hadn't failed him, had always delivered, even when the timing was so unrealistically wrong. But here he was —how funny—trapped in a moving vehicle with his captor and Yoongi was-

He closed his eyes, finally noticing that his breathing was labored judging by the congestion in his throat and the lump in his lungs. He could visually imagine clouds of white air leaving his quickly drying lips, filling the car with warm fogs and clouding the windows with condensation. But it didn't seem so far-fetched considering how close to a panic attack he was. And as much as he needed to stay calm in the given situation, he couldn't help the stress that began to eat away at him; thoughts so painfully real to a point where he could see them, worries, hanging over his eyes like flashing neon lights.

Yoongi was-

Yoongi is-

Hoseok had-

Yoongi-

He was drowning in them. Left adrift in a sea of panic created by his own reality. And Jimin tried. He really did. He tried to hang on, to stay afloat on his raft of hope, but Hoseok's silence was cruel, knocking him over until his body plummeted and he couldn't breathe.

Drowning in tears; a habit he had had before he met Yoongi, had made itself present, and his hopelessness of the situation was too much for him. Jimin didn't know how to cope, biting on his lips to stop the weak whimpers from leaving him as his insides screamed in agony.

'Why me?' was a thought that repeated itself the most.

Why did it have to be me? And he began to feel sorry for himself, an emotion he hated but seemed appropriate in the given time. He pitied himself, a way to show how weak he was. How fucking weak and stupid and sad and foolish and god damn selfish he was.

Selfish because he thought that what he had managed to grasp was permenat. Selfish because he was only thinking about himself. Even now, he was only thinking about his own pitifully life and how he had messed everything up and Yoongi is-

He snapped his eyes open, heart beating in his throat as he turned his head towards the window, looking for a distraction. God, he needed a distraction, anything so he wasn't drowning. Even if it was just for a second.

But he found nothing.

Nothing but blurred images and loud, head-spiraling sounds.

Nothing and Jimin-

His gaze focused on the window again, tears stopping just for a second as an idea crawled into his head.

What if he tried to escape?
