Chapter 2

Kae

I was chilling with Cassie, when I got a phone call from Chris.

"Hey you!" I said.

"Hey, guess what." he said nervously.

"What?"

"We're gonna be parents."

I smiled instantly and I could hear Chris chuckling.

I drove home happily and when I got there, Chris had made dinner.

As soon as I walked in the kitchen, he started attacking me with kisses, which led into a make out session.

As he lifted me on the counter the doorbell rung. We tried to ignore it but they kept ringing it. Terrific.

I got down and went to go answer it to see Stacy.

"Hi congratulations!" Stacy said hugging me.

"Thanks, Chris!" I yelled for him.

"Hi Chris. I bought champagne for you two and sparkling cider for me." Stacy said with a smile.

"That is so thoughtful, thank you." Chris said putting his arm around me.

"Your house is beautiful." she complimented.

"Thanks, Kae decorated it herself." Chris said and I blushed.

"Sorry if I interrupted." Stacy said walking towards the door.

"No, we were just having dinner. Come join us." I said trying to be friendly.

"Really? I don't wanna be a third wheel."

"No it's fine, you're the reason we're celebrating." I said trying to convince her.

"I promise I'll make it up to you." I whispered to Chris.

"You better." he whispered back.

Stacy

"How long have you lived here?" Chris asked as we ate dinner.

Ugh, he was beautiful. I couldn't stop staring. I have to have him.

"I moved here a while ago with my ex boyfriend. We were supposed to get married but it didn't work out."

"Well you'll meet another guy!" Kae said with a smile.

"I don't know, sometimes I'm not so sure." I said picking up some salad with my fork.

"You will." Kae assured and I looked over at the handsome Chris.

"Oh c'mon, you're smart, you're beautiful." Chris said and I blushed.

"I'm not good at meeting people. Especially with me being pregnant now." I said.

"Well your breast going up a cup size or two wont help." he said making me and karrueche laugh.

"I can't believe you just said that." Kae told Chris.

"That's okay, I think he's funny." I said sending a smile Chris's way.

"Thank you, see she thinks I'm funny." Chris said.

"You are funny." I said with a smirk.

"I should go." I said getting my stuff.

"I'll walk you out." Chris said getting up too.

"Oh no, it's fine. I already feel like part of the family." I said smiling and heading towards the door.

As I was walking out I saw a picture of Kae and Chris and grabbed it. I hid it in my jacket and left.
