Chapter 9
Betty POV:
I woke up with an obnoxious headache this morning. Probably because of talking about my mother yesterday. I look at my phone to check the time and I see there are 358 missed calls from Archie, 334 missed calls from Malachi, 2 from Veronica and 454 missed calls from Jason. Jason for the win I chuckle to myself. I put my phone down and turn on my computer to do some work. I finish up doing some of the tax's and filling out orders of ingredients for the bar, I look at the time and see it's 6:30 am, Jughead should be coming in soon. I was about to sit back on the couch when there was a knock on the door, I go to open it and see the bright smile of Jason's boyfriend Joaquin. " oh my god betts, I've missed you so much " he said. " I missed you too " I say as we embrace each other in a hug. " betts, where have you been? Jason has been trying to call you for a week now! He's going ballistic with out you. I think you were the only thing keeping him sane. And not to mention how worried Archie is about you, he's going insane with our You. We all are going crazy with out you to be hones." he said. " i know I know, I miss them too " I say in a sad voice. " hey, don't be sad Betts. Tell me what's wrong " he said with a calm voice and then puts a hand on my shoulder. "remember how me and Mali were dating" I say, " yes I remember and what do you mean by were? " he says looking confused " we broke up " I say. " betts, I'm so sorry. Do you want me to tell Jason and Archie so they can beat the shit out of that useless piece of trash. I'm sorry Betty but he treated you like garbage, I'm glad you broke up " he said, I reply back with a simple answer " yeah, I finally realised that too " I sigh.

Betty: What! No way! I promised you all I would never get back with him, remember? Otherwise Jason and Archie would force me to watch videos of me when I was younger. We both start laughing historically.
Betty: I was..um..uh kidnapped.
Joaquin: what the hell! By Who?
Betty: Jughead
Joaquin: why?
Betty: I'm apart of some revenge plan. Jughead kidnaped me just to pretend he is going to hurt me, when it's just a trap to get Malachi here so jughead can.. k..ki-
Joaquin: Kill him?
Betty: Ye-yes
Joaquin: this isn't safe Betty. Your like a sister to me, what actually you are a sister to me and if I don't keep you safe I will get a lecture from both Archie and Jason and Jason will literally kill me.
Betty: first of all, you are a brother to me and secondly Jason loves you to much to hurt you... I think
Joaquin: I'm going to speak to Jughead later. Don't try and change my mind ok? And can I please give a message to Archie and Jason from you, I think Jason will calm down.
Betty: fine, I won't change your mind. Tell them I love them so much and I miss them and tell Jason to get out of my apartment.
Joaquin: what, how did you know that?
Betty: last time I was out of town for a week I got a call from Archie telling me he broke into my apartment to create a shrine for me. I say bursting out in laughter, so does Joaquin.
Joaquin: i think he loves you more then me. He says still laughing.
Betty: impossible, all he talks about is you and about how perfect you are, the way your hair falls down perfectly and how your eyes sparkle when you see something you like. Yeah, I know all this because of Jason. I chuckle
Joaquin: and when I'm with him all he does is talk about how perfect and smart you are, how you are always there for him and how greatful he is for you since you are the reason we are together, but how you make terrible decisions in the dating department. He says trying to hold his laughter back, but bursts out laughing anyway.
Betty: ha ha, very funny, why do I feel like you added the last part joe.
Joaquin: maybe I did. But Jason would surely agree.
Betty: yeah I know I say laughing.
All of a sudden Jughead walks in.
Jughead POV:
I arrive at work and I begin to walk up the stairs and hear Betty talking to someone, why is she up?
I open the door and see Betty talking to Joaquin. How do they know each other?
Betty: Good morning Jughead.
Joaquin: morning Boss
Jughead: morning betts, Joaquin. What are you doing here?
Joaquin: came to check in, and to my surprise I see Betty. Want to explain to me what's going on? Betts, wait outside.
Betty walks out the door.
Joaquin: she told me your plan, are you crazy?
Jughead: why do you care?
Joaquin: she is like a sister to me. I can't let you put her in danger. So if you are so ignorant and want to go ahead with your plans I have to be apart of this. I'm not going to let her get hurt.
Jughead: Fine, Whatever. And you still didn't answer my question, why do you care so much about her?
Joaquin: were do I start? She has been there for me ever since I was five and had no friends. She invited me into her friend group and made sure to check up on me everyday. She also set me up with my boyfriend Jason. She's been through so much shit that she doesn't deserve. I'm not going to see her hurt again, especially not by you because you want revenge!
Jughead: what do you mean she has been through shit? I saw her talking to Todd about it to? What has happened?
Joaquin: she's been talking to Todd?
I slowly nod my head
Joaquin: that's something I guess. Look, it's not my place to say but she has been through hell and back multiple times. There are only a few people who know about it and that's how it's going to stay!
Joaquin says and walks about.
*At the same time Jughead and Joaquin are talking Betty and Todd are also speaking*
Betty's POV:
Joaquin told me to go outside so I did, I walk downstairs and sit on a chair near the bar.
I had been sitting there for about 5 minuets when someone puts there hands over my eyes
Todd: Guess who it is?
Betty: who could it be? Someone who is scared of rabbits and is terrified of Jason literally wanting to kill them. My guess is Todd. I say laughing.
Todd: to be fair if he ever did see me again he literally would kill me.
Betty: very true Todd, very true. We both chuckle.
Todd: what are you doing up so early? I know how much you love your beauty sleep. He says laughing.
Betty: I woke up with a headache, probably because of yesterday, speaking about-
Todd: I understand.
Betty: thanks... anyway, Joaquin came in today and told me how  Jason broke into my apartment, again, to make a shrine for me.
Todd: wow, he really does miss you. It's obvious how much Archie, Jason and Joaquin care for you. I'm really glad they're here for you. Always. He says looking to the ground
Betty: Todd, you have to stop feeling guilty about the past. I know you messed up but we're friends now. I forgive you.
