Chapter 19
Betty POV:
I wake with a smile on my face. I can't wait to see my siblings again, they mean the world to me. I make myself some breakfast and head out to my car, I put my suitcase in the trunk and head down to Archie's place to meet him, Joaquin and Jason. I begin my short drive to his house admiring my beautiful surroundings. I lived in a truly before town, what a shame the people aren't as beautiful on the inside, I think to myself. I arrive at Archie's and knock on the door, I know this time not to sneak up on him, I chuckle to myself. I stood waiting outside until I was greeted by a happy yet sad Jason. He gave me a hug and invited me in until I was tackled to the couch by Joaquin, also giving me a hug.

Betty: Damn Joaquin, your stronger then I remember. We all laugh.
Betty: I guess you all missed me then.
Archie: of course we did Betts. But we are also worried about you. We no what Jughead said was exactly what your mom and dad use to call you. Please talk to us.
Betty: honestly I'm fine, I haven't really had time to worry about that.
Joaquin: what do you mean you didn't have time? He asked genuinely confused.
Betty: I mean that I have been so busy helping out the Ghoulies and getting them back on track and catching up with them I haven't had time to think about him. Honestly the distraction did me a world of good.
Archie: that's good. Just promise us you and Malachi wont ever be more then friends.
Betty: I promise. After what he did to Jason I could never see him in that way again.
Joaquin: ok enough. Archie and Betty are only going to be here for another 21 hours, let's play some games.
Betty: yesss.

We move all the furniture and get out twister, one of my favorite games. We begin to play the game.
Betty: Joaquin get your ass out of my face I say making us all laugh.
Jason: you can put your ass in my face he said with a dirty smirk.
Archie and Betty: Ew you guys. As we said that we all fall from laughing so hard. These are moments I would cherish forever. We all chat for another couple hours and soon after fall asleep.

I'm the first one to wake up, I look at the clock and it reads 6am, we need to be at the airport by 11am, we have plenty of time. I make the four of us breakfast and place it nicely on the kitchen table. The first person to wake up out of the three was Jason, he walks into the kitchen saying good morning and gave me a hug. Next is Archie, then finally Joaquin. We all sit around the table and eat some breakfast. By the time everyone had woken up, ate breakfast and had done the dishes it was 9:30, we had half an hour to just chat before Joaquin and Jason would take us to the Airport.

It was now the time I had been dreading, saying good bye to them, I give them both a long hug, they both say I love you and have a safe flight. Me and Archie link arms and check in. We sit down and wait a little for our gate to open. We were now on the plane and this is the happiest I felt in awhile, knowing I'm with my best friend and seeing my family.

Jason POV:
We drop Archie and Betty off at the airport and head down to the Whyte Wyrm. I really like the bar, the people there have always been so kind, it's just Jughead. Every time I enter the bar I have to resist from murdering him, although I don't think people would mind, ever since Betty left, all the Serpents have been a bit down.
We arrive at the bar and see Kevin and Sweet Pea talking to each other so we greet them.

Jason: hey guys!
Sweet Pea: hey guys. How's Betty?
Joaquin: she's been doing good lately. We actually just dropped her off at the airport.
Kevin: that's good. We miss her so much.
Jason: it looks like everyone else does too. Why is it so quiet in here?
Sweet Pea: ever since she left the Serpents have been feeling lost. She was the happiest person to ever set foot in this and she made them all happy. Now that she's gone, it's like everyone's happiness went away.
Jason: wow. I new everyone loved her here and would stand up for her, but I never new how much of an impact on the rest of the Serpents she had.
Joaquin: everyone really loved her here. She was so different to them. They were all dark and mysterious, but Betty was all bright colours and milkshakes.
Jason: that's our Betty. We all smile
Joaquin: trust me, she loved it here. But being here was really bad for her mental health.
Kevin and Sweet Pea: what do you mean?

We all walk outside and me and Joaquin explain all about her parents, her anxiety and how that her parents would always call her a worthless slut. They were shocked and upset. They were both thinking how could something so terrible happen to the most amazing person.

Sweet Pea: wow, that's intense. I feel so sorry for her. And especially after what Jughead said to her, that makes everything 10x worse.
Kevin: I can't believe she's had to go through this. She hides it very well, what a poor girl. She is nothing but sweet smiles and kindness.
Jason: yeah, she doesn't deserve any of this. And when Jughead said that, it brought up everything she has been trying to hold deep down. Luckily she kept herself busy and forgot about Jughead.
Sweet Pea: I feel so sorry for her and there's nothing we can do, unless you want to kill our stupid Boss. He has just been locked in his office avoiding everyone.
Joaquin: as much as I want to kill him I'm not in the mood to go to jail. We all laugh.
Joaquin: maybe I should talk to him, otherwise this gang will go to complete shit.
Kevin: yeah, that's a good idea.

We all agree and Joaquin go's up to his office, how will he hold back from wanting to murder him? I know if I was alone in a room with him, let's just say one of us will be walking out alive.

Jughead POV:
These last two days with out Betty have been the worst. Not only because everyone hates me and beat the shit out of me, but also because her cute smile isn't here to cheer me up. When ever I was stressed she would know how to get me to relax. I miss when she would hold my hand, I miss when ever she looked up at me. I missed the fell of her warm and inviting vanilla lips against mine. I missed her. I keep playing back memories of us together until I hear a knock on my door. That's weird, I don't think anyone actually likes me let alone wants to speak to me.
Jughead: come in.
To my surprise Joaquin walks in.
Jughead: what do you want! I say and he takes a seat in front of me.
Joaquin: I want to know why you haven't been out of your office since everyone beat the shit out of you.
Jughead: it's not like anyone down there is really pleased with me.
Joaquin: what ever, I don't really care about your pity party, I care about this bar and your letting it turn to shit.
Jughead: what am I suppose to do about that. I say rolling my eyes.
Joaquin: well since your the boss you should be running it. I really don't understand why your upset. You were the one that called Betty the slut, 3 times might I add. She was nothing but kind and sweet hearted to you. In fact, during my whole time as a Serpent I never have seen the others this happy, not she's gone and they are back to there depressing life's. He said standing up, rage and anger spreading across his face. I couldn't blame him either.
Jughead: Don't you think I know how much I've messed everything up. I pushed away the one person in my life that I actually loved. The one person who actually cared for me. The one person who gave a fuck about me. But I got jealous, god knows why. I fucking miss her so much, I feel so broken without her here. When she left a part of me left. I loved her so fucking much and now she's gone because of me.
Joaquin: if you love her why did you call her a slut... 3 damn times. Rage still running through his voice.
Jughead: Because i love her so fucking much. She means the world to me, and knowing that she has other guys in her life that are important to her, it hurt. Because I know I will never be enough for her.
Joaquin: for fucks sake Jughead, she has been through so much shit. You know the worst part. The day she slept at Archie's she had a good damn reason. She went to hang out with Archie and she went behind him and scared him, he had a bad reaction, he elbowed her in the eye and tackled her to the ground. And when you saw her being carried to bed, that was only because she was to dizzy to walk, and she would've tried to tell you the day YOU broke up with her, they had been sleeping next to each other since they were kids... The whole time she was there all she wanted to do was see you, then when she finally saw you you called her a worthless slut. He says walking closer to me.
Jughead: What... I-I I saw the video and just got so mad. I didn't mean to call her a slut, she's anything but.
Joaquin: well you did!
Jughead: I need to make this right. I love her!
Joaquin: if you mess with her one more damn time, trust me. Me, Jason, Archie and the other Serpents will have her back 100%
Jughead: i won't hurt her. I promise. With that i walked out. I need to make this right.

A/N Jughead finally getting his head together. Also I love Sweet Pea and Betty's friendship.
Also I know my Chapter titles are terrible. I can't think of anything better 😂😩🤦‍♀️
