Why me? - Bughead story

Run!

Betty POV:
I was running, running from him. I looked at my surroundings and everything became dark. Before I new it I was on the ground, facing him.

*Before Betty was kidnaped*

Jughead POV:
I found the leader of the ghoulies, Malachi's girlfriend, walking alone on a dark night. It was now my time to get back at him, revenge. Malachi wanted a war, that's what he's going to get.
I was sat in my car with two other Serpents, Sweet-Pea and Fangs. I've known them for all my life when I think about it. They're my most trusted serpents. I order them to follow her. The only person Malachi cares about is Betty, I will definitely be using that information to my advantage, let's see what he does when I take her away.
*Jughead calls Malachi*
Jughead: "if I was you I would look after your precious Betty" I said slightly chuckling.
Malachi: " what do you mean?! " he says raising his voice.
Jughead: "I have eyes on your precious Bet-".  I was cut off by Malachi.
Malachi: "if you dare touch her I will kill you! "
Jughead: bye... For now.
*Call ends *
I text Sweet-Pea asking were Betty was. He replied back in under a minute,  saying she was at the local diner "Pop's", a personal favourite place of mine.
I get my helmet and hop onto my motorcycle.
I was probably going way over the speed limit but I needed to catch her before she left. I entered the diner being unnoticed by her. Thank god I thought to myself. She was on the phone with someone, I couldn't quite make out what she was saying but it was something along the lines of "I'm fine, you don't need to worry about me". It must be Malachi, glad he had got my message.
She pays Pop and walks out, she begins walking home, I stay a far distance behind her making sure I wasn't to loud.
I start getting closer to her and begin to talk " hello Betty, how are you? "
" uh..who are you? And how do you know my name? " she asks nervously.
" well I'm Jughead, and I'm not that keen on your boyfriend " I say.
" what does that have to do with me? " she said beginning to take a couple steps away from me.
" See, the thing is your the only thing he cares about, I guess a smart girl like yourself can figure out what is about to happen sweetheart ".
Betty begins to run into the forest, luckily there are broken sticks and leaves all over the place, making it impossible for her to be quiet.
" Come on sweetheart, you no I will find you " I yell.
I continue running and I here a loud noise, I run towards it and see she had fallen and was getting back up, I ran even faster tackling her to the ground. She really thought she could escape me, what a silly girl.
