A second chance?

Chapter 21
Betty POV:
I noticed someone staring at me. Jughead. I begin to get nervous and feel my anxiety going up, I need to calm down. I say I needed to go to the bathroom and Toni must have realized something was wrong so she came with me. I walk into the bathroom and hear Toni walk in behind me.
Betty: I'm so glad you came. I say nervously
Toni: B? What's wrong? You were fine and then something happened.
Betty: I saw Jughead. I say letting a tear slide down my face.
Toni: what! Do you want me to give him a piece of my mind?! She says getting mad.
Betty: No T. I don't know what to do.
Toni: it will all be ok. Let's go back in. We are all here for you, we love you.
Betty: I love you all to. I say embracing her in a hug.
Toni: Your the strongest girl I know. You will get through this.
Betty: You always know what to say. I say with a smile.
Toni: I know, I'm amazing, we both giggle and walk out of the bathroom and sit back down.
Malachi: are you ok Betts?
Betty: you know what. I'm perfect. I say with a big smile, being surrounded by my friends will always cheer me up. We soon finished up, I go to pay, Reggie and Malachi had to go back to the lair so Fangs and Toni were waiting for me outside. I walk outside after thanking Pop and I feel someone grab my arm. I turned around hoping it wasn't Jughead, but it was.
Jughead: can we please speak. Then suddenly Toni walks up to us.
Toni: if I was you I would let go of her! She says. Then Fangs comes up to us.
Fangs: what's going on here?!
Jughead: can we please just talk Betty.
Betty: Fine! You guys go, I will see you tomorrow.
Fangs: mhh. We love you, call us if you need anything.
Betty: I love you all too. I send them a small smile. Why did I agree to speak to him?
Jughead POV:
After her friends had finally left I was about to begin speaking but she beat me to it.
Betty: what do you what? I didn't think I was worth your time. She scoffs.
Jughead: Betty... I didn't mean anything I had said the last couple of days. I was jealous, I had no reason to be and I knew that. I just was being a complete asshole to you. Betty I miss you so much, you make me so happy, heck you make everyone so happy. I'm so sorry for everything I said. Your not worthless, your not a slut. You're perfect I say looking into her beautiful green eyes, they looked as if she wanted to cry. How could I put her through all this.
Betty: you think just because you apologized I'm going to forget everything you said. What happens if your angry again? Will I suddenly became worthless to you again? Will I not be worth any of your time?- I cut her off. I hate everything I said to her.
Jughead: I was scared ok. You are so much closer with them then me, they know everything about you and I know nothing.
Betty: when we got together did you think this was going to be a normal relationship? You kidnapped me for fucks sake! I was willing to give us a try, you only thought about yourself.
Jughead: Betty... I know all this is my fault and I'm so fucking sorry. I never meant to put you through any of this. Please give me one more chance. I promise you, I will never be like that again. Please Betty, I love you.
Betty: I'll think about it...
And she walks off.
My body is just stood there in shock. I mean what did I expect? I didn't expect her to take me back, I new that. There is still hope for us. I love her so much, I can't lose her. If I lost her i would never be the same. She is my world.
Toni POV:
I know Betty told me and Fangs to go but I needed to know more about this Jughead. I pulled Fangs behind an old fence that was close enough for us to hear but further enough for them to not notice that we were there listening, the hole time. I need to know if this asshole is genuine. Me and Fangs look at each other, I whisper to him.
Toni: I know Betty and she will give him a second chance, but I need to know more about him. I don't trust him yet.
Fangs: neither do I. If he keeps acting like this they won't last long. He talks to her like Malachi use to.
Toni: I thought I was the only one who noticed that.
Fangs: nope. We have to follow him to his house, so then we can have a little.. chat with him.
Toni: agreed, let's go.
Jughead POV:
I arrive home and flop onto my bed. Today went better then I thought it would, but Betty still isn't mine. I don't think I've ever loved someone this much. As I continue to day dream about Betty I hear a knock on my door. I look at the clock and it's 10:56 pm, why is someone here now. I stand up and walk to the door. I unlock the door and slowly open it, to see the two people that were defending Betty before.
Jughead: what do you want?
Toni: Answers! They invite themselves in and sat down.
Fangs: we no everything you said to Betty. I look down.
Toni: You were a real asshole to call her a worthless slut!
Jughead: i know. I regret it.
Toni: You better. She can do better then you, but unfortunately she likes you. I know my girl Betty, she will give you a second chance.
Jughead: wait, really?
Fangs: yes but a word of advice. Don't speak to her the way you did when you were "apologizing ". That's the way Malachi would talk to her, leading to there break up. After they said that they both get up and leave. Should I really trust them that Betty will give me a second chance? I put all my doubts behind and believe them. I love her to much to doubt that she will leave me forever.
Betty POV:
I walk back home and I unlock my door but I hear noises coming from my room. I keep a bat near the door, I grab that and head towards my bedroom door slowly. I steady the bat and quickly turn on the light. To my surprise there was an actual human being in my room.
How the fuck did they get in? I could only make the outline of there body. They were under my blanket, the worst hiding spot if I say so myself. At this point I was panicking and was about to faint. I swallow up all my fears and step closer to my bed, getting ready to rip the blanket off the person and to see who it is. I grab the rim of the blanket and rip it off.
What the hell! I scream as I rip of the blanket.
