Chapter 16 
Betty POV:
I heard a knock on my door and I go to open it. I open the door and see it's Reggie, I'm actually really glad to see him.
Betty: oh my god hi.
Reggie: Betts! I've missed you so much. He says as we embrace each other in a warm and comfortable hug. I invited him inside and made him a tea.
Reggie: Betts, what's going on? You only do meditation when your really stressed or if your trying to control your anxiety. What happened?
Betty: if I tell you you will hate me. I say letting a tear fall. He grabs his thumb and wipes away my tear.
Reggie: Betts, you know I could never hate you. You are amazing and have done so much for me. I give him a small smile.
Betty: do you promise?
Reggie: I promise.
Betty: ok. The night me and Malachi broke up I was walking home after Pop's and Jughead kidnapped me.
Reggie: Betty, are you ok? I nod my head
Betty: I ended up liking him and he liked me back. But someone sent him a video of Archie sleeping next to me.
Reggie: so? You two are best friends and have been doing it since you were kids.
Betty: I told him that. He didn't believe me. He called me a...a worthless slut. I say looking down.
Reggie: betts, you are anything but a slut or worthless. You don't usually listen to what people say about you. What changed. Wait, that's what you mom and dad use to call you, didn't they?
Betty: Yeah they did. I thought I never had to go through that again. I was wrong.
Reggie: betts... I'm so sorry. I can't believe how much of an asshole he is. I don't want to say this because it will cause you more stress but Malachi is thinking about getting drugs involved with the Ghoulies.
Betty: what! No. Doesn't he remember how much work it took us to get the Ghoulies back on a clean slate?
Reggie: he won't listen to anyone Betty, that's why I came. Please come back to us Betty. All of us miss you. You were our ray of sunshine. Everything has turned to shit with out you. Please.
Betty: I'll go back today but I can't promise you anything else.
Reggie: thank you so much Betts, all the Ghoulies will be so grateful!
Betty: I still care about Mali, I just can't date him anymore. I say looking down.
Reggie: Betts I understand. But he really misses you and by the look on your face you miss him too.
Betty: yeah, let's go.
Reggie takes my hand and takes me out to his bike, he helps me on and we make our way to the Ghoulies lair. On the way there I feel the cold crisp air hitting my body. It feels so nice to be on a bike again. I left mine at the lair as it technically wasn't mine. We shortly arrive and the outside looks like a mess.
Betty: woah, it's a mess out here.
Reggie: Yeah, as soon as you dumped him he turned into a drunken mess.
Betty: oh. I'm going to go to his office, I'll be back soon Reg.
Reggie: good luck, Coop! You might need it.
I walk towards his office and the door is closed so I knocked on it three times, a couple seconds later I get a slurred response.
Malachi: go away! He yells. I open the door.
Betty: hey Mali I say looking at him with a calming smile.
Malachi: Betts? He asked, looking confused as if he was seeing things.
Betty: yeah it's me. How much have you had to drink I ask, looking around the office, covered with beer bottles.
Malachi: ten or so, I guess. He says, barley audible. He then grabs a half drunken beer bottle and raises it to his lips.
Betty: Mali, can you put that down... for me?
He looks at me and puts it down.
Betty: thank you. Now come with me. I'm going to take you to the couch near the bar, I'll get you some water and I'll get us some food. Ok?
Malachi: ok. He says
Betty: ok, I'll help you up.
I begin helping him up and we slowly get downstairs until Reggie sees me struggling and helps me.
I rush into the kitchen to get him some water and bring it out to him.
Betty: here, Mali please try to drink this. I say as I hand him the glass of water.
Betty: I'm going to get us some food. Try and get some sleep, ok?
Malachi: ok and betts, thank you for coming.
I stand up and walk towards the bar were I see some of my friends Toni and Fangs.
I walk up to them and greet them.
Betty: hey Toni, Fangs.
Fangs and Toni: Betty? Is that you?
Betty: yes it is I say laughing.
Fangs came out from behind the bar and gave me a big tight hug, I've missed him so much.
Fangs: betts, I missed you so much! I didn't think I would ever see you again.
Betty: I never thought I would be back either.
Toni: why are you back? Don't get me wrong. I am more then happy my favorite girl is back, but why?
Betty: Reggie came to my house and told me how Malachi is thinking of bringing drugs back into the Ghoulies. I couldn't let him do that after how hard we worked to get rid of them all.
Reggie: your already doing a good job, your the first person to get him out of his office.
Betty: thanks. Anyway, who wants to come with me to Pop's?
Toni, Reggie and Fangs: me! They all said causing me to laugh.
Betty: did you all really miss me that much? I say chuckling. The three of them look at each other and in unison say " yes ". We all erupt into laughter.
Betty: we can all catch up later but this is what were going to do; Reggie is going to watch Malachi, Toni is going to stay behind the bar and Fangs is with me.
Toni: I didn't miss her bossy ness. We all start laughing hysterically
Betty: it's the only way to get things done around here. Come on Fangs let's go. Fangs grabs my hand and pulls me outside.
Fangs: Thank you so much for coming back. I know this isn't easy for you, please remember that we are all here for you.
Betty: thank you Fangs, I really missed you all. I say giving him another hug. We get into his car and we shortly arrive at Pop's.
Jughead POV:
After I yelled at Betty I felt slightly guilty, I new she wasn't a slut, she was anything but. I walked downstairs from my office and everyone was giving me strange looks, I walk over to Sweet Pea and ask him what's going on.
Jughead: what's going on down here Sweet Pea, everyone is giving me strange looks.
Sweet Pea: that's what happens when you call everyones favorite girl a worthless slut.
Jughead: how do people know about that!
Sweet Pea: everyone heard you yelling at her and I saw her walking out of here in a hurry so I asked her what was wrong and she told me. I hope your happy with yourself. She was the best thing to ever happen to this bar and you tossed her away. He says walking off not letting me have a chance to speak. He was right I just got rid of the best thing to ever happen to me. I new I couldn't go back in the bar because I had a lot of people, well everyone wanting to kill me so I go to my favorite place which happens to be Betty's as well. Pop's.
I get on my bike and ride over to Pop's, it feels so relaxing being on my bike, it always manages to calm me down. I arrive at Pop's and pick out a booth. About ten minuets after I arrive I order my meal, as I'm waiting for my food I hear the bell ring. I look up and see Betty and some guy I have never seen before. Who is he? And why is he with Betty?
Betty POV:
We walk into Pop's and walk up to the counter.
Pop: hey Betty! I haven't seen you in a while. He says with a fading smile.
Betty: I know Pop. Unfortunately I've been busy. I've missed having your world class burgers, I say with a smile.
Pop: your to kind Betty. What can I get you two?
Betty: 4 burgers, 4 fries and 4 milkshakes to go please
Pop: of course, it will be right up. He says with a smile.
I say thank you to Pop and I grab a booth with fangs. We sat down and I was feeling cold as I left my jacket at home, Fangs must have noticed as he offered me his jacket.
Fangs: hey betts, do you want my jacket?
Betty: Yes please, I was in such a rush to leave my apartment I forgot to bring one. He takes of his jacket and I put it on.
Betty: still smells like lemon grass I say chuckling.
Fangs: your favorite he smiles.
Betty: you remembered?
Fangs: of course I did. Betty the bar is a complete mess with out you. Your the sunshine in that bar. Everyone in there missed you like crazy. We would all be starting at the door for hours hoping and praying you would come back to us.
I grab his hand and begin to speak.
Betty: I hated leaving you guys. You were and are still my family. When ever my family made me feel like shit you guys would make sure to look after me and make me feel better. I'm so sorry I left you all. I say letting a tear slide down my face. Fangs comes and sits next to me.
Fangs: hey, don't cry. He says wiping away a tear that had fallen.
Fangs: Betty, we all understand why you had to leave, to be honest we were all surprised you didn't leave him earlier. But none of us are mad that you left. We were just lonely without your beautiful smile walking into the bar each day. Hell, even Tall boy missed you.
Betty: your telling me the scariest looking guy in the bar, or should I say I have ever seen missed me?
Fangs: yes betts, he did. We both chuckle.
Fangs:You have made such a lasting impact on us all. We can't lose you. He says giving me a tight and meaningful hug.
Betty: I love you all so much.
Fangs: we love you to he says kissing my forehead. It's not weird for him to do that, we have been friends for five years and he's gay. We talk a lit longer until I get a call from Reggie.
Betty: Fangs, this can't be good. I say showing him that Reggie is calling.
Fangs: take the call outside, we don't need anyone in our business, I will wait for the food. I nod with agreement.
I walk outside and except the call.
*Betty,Malachi and Reggie on the phone *
