I prefer to help others, and not the other way around. I wasn't a big fan of people helping me for some reason. It's nice every once in a while, of course, but I prefer not having others do my work for me.
Which is why I was hesitating.
This wasn't something that can easily be done on my own, especially since I can only use one hand, and since I'm slightly shaking.
In the end, I let him.
I brought my left knee closer so that I could rest my left hand on it, palm up. Namjoon hesitantly clipped the bullet. He hesitated for a moment.
"Don't worry about hurting me. I wouldn't have let you do this if I didn't trust you." I assured him. He took a deep breath, then nodded. Namjoon began to take the bullet out.
Let me just say, it hurts.
As Namjoon slowly began to take the bullet out, I was gripping my right thigh so hard, I probably have nail marks that might be bleeding.
I felt a hand on my right shoulder.
"Look at me." Someone said beside me. I looked over.
It was Hoseok. He seemed a little calmer than before, which was good.
I was about to ask him why he came here, but then pain shot through my hand and up my arm, causing me to snap my head in that direction and flinch my right hand, making me almost pull my left hand away. I managed not to, but I was gripping my thigh much more, and I had clenched my jaw.
"Sorry..." Both Namjoon and I said to each other. We didn't laugh about it; Namjoon continued to work on taking the bullet, me watching.
"It might hurt less if you don't watch." Another voice said beside me. I looked over.
It was Jin this time.
Before I could ask why, I flinched in pain again.
