Vanessa-
We searched for about half an hour more the next week. The only reason we stopped was because Leah started to call to me, "Vanessa! Angela! I found it! We found it!" The two of us quickly ran over to meet her at Sebastian's house. There was a sign on the lawn saying, "House for rent" with a big stamp over the sign reading, "rented by Sebastian Lee" in all capitals. We knocked on the door and rang the doorbell.
The door groaned as it was pushed open and there stood Sebastian. At least who I thought was Sebastian, he looked different, he had an overgrown curly mustache that seemed too old for him, his green eyes looked clouded and he had big grey eye bags underneath them. His brown hair was longer than I had ever seen it before and was messy and uncombed. His skin was dry and was cleaving to his bones. His lips looked dry and in a few spots it was bleeding. He looked a mess. Somehow though, he could bend his face into a welcoming smile.
"Vanessa?" He questioned.
"Sebastian?"
Angela and Leah just looked in disgust at Seb. Then, Angela said the most embarrassing thing ever, "We'll Leah and I will leave you to at it." She then took Leah by the arm and lead her down the path heading for the park were our cars were.
Sebastian watched Angela and Leah walk down the sidewalk and then turned back to me, "It's so good to see you, Vanessa, why don't you come on in".
I entered into Sebastian's new home, the first thing I saw was dust, dust on everything. Dust on the lamps, the couch, table, even on the walls. There was dust in every direction you looked and there was not a corner without it. Along with that, everything in the house looked like it was gotten from a yard sale, nothing matched anywhere, there were many bright colors everywhere all topped with a thick layer of dust. There were blinds over the windows and as we entered Seb quickly pulled them up. In the light, he looked even more horrendous.
He sat me down at the table and as he sat himself down I just had to say something, "Ok, I just can't right now, I-I-I just can't!" I stuttered, "You have got to shave! Right here, right now. I-I-I can't even look at you! Gosh, you look like a hairy man-child." Sebastian looked at me in surprise, "Now where is the bathroom, I have to find you a razor!"
Sebastian looked at me in surprise and then pointed to the left of me to a small hallway, "Down that hallway, first door on the right."
I grabbed the empty glass that was on the table and swiftly found the bathroom and went in, while I was looking for a razor I also found shaving cream and scissors. While I filled the glass with water I took most of the things I found back out to the table. I then returned back to the bathroom to retrieve the water.
I walked back out to Seb and sat back down, "Call me when your moustache is gone, and while your at it, try to cut your hair, I am going to get Angela, she is great at these things she will make you look human again, Leah is also going to come too, she can clean better than any housewife can." I then left Seb to clean up his face. I then walked back to my car, which was waiting for me at the park. When I got to my car I reached for my tote for my phone but saw I didn't need it my friends were already at the park waiting for me.
"Well, that didn't take as long as I thought it would." Leah yelled to me.
"Yeah," I replied. "But I need your help with something. Cleaning up Seb's house, and his appearance." I started to laugh, my friends looked at me in a wondering way, "I called him a man-child." I explained to them. They started to laugh too. Turned out my Saturday wasn't going to be as bad as I thought it would be.
