WARNINGS: SWEARING AND FIGHTING PARENTS
REQUESTS ARE OPEN!
-Check yes Juliet,
Are you with me?
Rain is falling down
on the side walk,
I won't go until you
come outside,It was a mystery of how Forsythe Pendleton Jones III fell hard for you. Somehow, you caught the attention of the boy during English.
You were going on to your friend on how much you enjoyed writing and how when you graduate you'd be going into journalism.
Jughead found it intriguing on how passionate you were about writing, so after class he pulled you aside asking you if you'd want to start writing for the blue and gold.
Of course you automatically accepted his offer, you were excited for others to read your writing and get other opinions on it.
After that, both you and Jughead got closer and closer everyday. It got to the point where the both of you became best friends, platonic, best friends.
You talked to Jughead about your family problems, how your parents were always fighting and how you would rarely get piece and quiet at home. That's when Jughead invited you to come to the drive in and help him pick out movies, sometimes even get to watch them.
You were greatful for Jughead to say the least, but you were head over heels for him. Neither of you had confessed to each other yet, afraid that the other would quickly friendzone them.
Until one day, Jughead was throwing pebbles at your window from the back of your house. You peered out the window seeing Jughead's signature smirk painted on his face letting im continuously chuck pebbles.
You move your laptop over to the side getting up from your desk opening the window. Jughead climbed up the ladder that he had set there earlier stopping once he reaches your window.
"Hey there Juliet." He smirked placing his hands on the rim on your window,
You blushed feeling your heart skip a beat, you moved over allowing him to come inside.
Your parents didn't love Jughead, they thought he was a terrible influence on you and that you would end up being broken by him. It disappointed you that your parents disliked the boy you loved.
Everyday whenever Jughead would walk you home from school, your mother would stare out the window giving him an unfriendly gaze.
You shook yourself out of your thoughts sitting back at your desk continuing to write.
"What're you working on?" Jughead asked kneeling next to your desk,
You shut your laptop turning around, "It's a secret."
Jughead chuckled standing back up, "Is the secret about how your madly in love with me?"
Your eyes widen as you awkwardly laugh, "Y-Yeah definitely."
Jughead smirked again before sitting on the edge of your bed, "There is actually a reason why I came here."
Your eyebrow raised, "To ransack my fridge?"
Jughead rolled his eyes shaking his head, "No it's actually something that might change us in a good or bad way."
You sat next to him looking into his emerald green eyes, "That is...?"
Jughead looked up before gently pulling your lips against his, instantly you kissed back feeling your heart beat faster and faster.
He pulled away keeping his eyes closed, you blushed, "Now you were saying?"
Jughead chuckled leaning his forehead against yours, "I let my lips do the talking."
"Well how else would you talk?" You teased him,
Jughead lightly hit your shoulder smiling knowing that the both of you like each other back.
Lace up yours shoes,
Here's how we do,
Run baby run,
Don't ever look back,
They'll tear us apart,
If you give them the chance,You heard your parents yelling at each other for the third time tonight, it was only 8:30. You texted Jughead asked him to come pick you up so you could escape the hell.
"Your such an asshole!"
"Well then why don't you just leave!"
You groaned hearing the bickering get louder and louder. A pebble hit your window ten minutes later. You laced up your red converse and opened your window.
Jughead was on his way up the ladder, "Sorry I couldn't come sooner."
You locked your bedroom door running back to the window, "Trust me Jug, your right on time."
Jughead held your waist helping you down the ladder setting you on the grass.
You dusted yourself off looking back up at him, "Thank you.."
Jughead smiled lacing your fingers together, "Anything for you."
The both of you hopped the fence and ran far far away from your house.
Don't sell your heart,
Don't say we're not meant to be,
Run baby run,
Forever we'll be,
You and me,"Please Jughead, I don't want you to get hurt." You whispered sitting in a booth at Pop's with your boyfriend,
"Y/N the only way that I could get hurt is by is not being together." Jughead said looking back at you tucking a piece of Y/H/C hair behind your ear.
"We aren't meant to be Jug, I mean look at me, I-I'm a mess. My parents aren't understanding, I'm an anxious piece of garbage." You said wiping your glassy eyes,
"Y/N I don't care, I don't care about your parents. We'll get through this together, I promise okay? Do you believe me?" Jughead said softly.
You looked into his pleading eyes nodding, "I-I do believe you."
Jughead smiles sadly taking your face in one of his hands kissing you.
His hand wiped your final falling tear before pulling away, he wrapped his arms around your waist resting his head on yours.
"Hey Y/N..?" Jughead said gliding your hair through his fingers,
"Hm..?" You muttered looking up,
"I love you."
"I love you too Jughead."
