A/N: UGH IM SORRY I JUST LOVE WRITING ANGSTY AND SAD STORIES SOOOO ENJOY?
WARNINGS: ANGSTY AND A LOT OF CRYING
-
You yawned sitting up, Jughead sat at the dining room table typing away on his laptop. It was dark outside so you assumed it was later at night, school was rough today and it was really something you wanted to forget.
The clues to Jason's murder case were finally connecting with eachother and of course, that made Jughead's novel a lot more interesting. You loved the fact that Jughead was so passionate about doing what he enjoyed, he was grateful to have such a supportive girlfriend. He always talks about no one understanding him except for you. You tried to connect with Jughead on everything, hell even your own father was arrested for the same reason Fp was as if they were a murder duo.
This caused you and Jughead to grow closer, a lot closer. You guys were inseparable, basically attached at the hip.
You were planning on celebrating you're birthday this weekend, it was always both you and Jughead's 2 year anniversary. You reminded Jughead every morning, he would just smile and chuckle at the cuteness that you contained.
"Hey Jug..." You mumbled looking up,
Jughead looked up making eye contact indicating that he was listening,
"Tomorrow." You state smirking at him, Jughead smiled softly rolling his eyes going back to his laptop,
"Wow you seem more than excited." You teased him,
"I'm just, not an emotional person." Jughead muttered keeping his eyes on the screen,
"Jughead, you shed a tear after dropping a cupcake yesterday."
silence.
"Okay maybe I am emotional but that's besides the point," Jughead interjected jokingly attempting to get the topic off him,
You giggled getting up hovering over his shoulder watching him type, his fingers harshly pummled each key. You pressed your lips against Jughead's temple causing his cheeks to turn a light pink.
"In honor of our anniversary, what do you wanna do?" You asked Jughead adjusting his beanie,
"Pops." He said looking up,
You looked at the boy raising an eyebrow, "Positive?"
He nodded, "But this time, we'll be that tacky couple who sits in the same side of the booth."
You rolled your eyes gently punching Jughead in the shoulder, Jughead smiled back at you closing his laptop getting up from the booth.
"See you tomorrow."

You patiently sat in a booth at Pops, you were a few minutes early so you texted Jughead to let him know you were here. You looked around the dinner only to see a few booths taken, you glanced at the clock that read 6:23 PM.
Your heart pumped with excitement and love, You loved Jughead with all your heart and you couldn't believe you were already celebrating your anniversary with him. Finally putting aside all the Black hood and serpent drama, now only focusing on Jughead.
The clock ticked and ticked, still no sign of Jughead. You texted him once more when it was 6:55 PM, still no response from the boy. His usual order sat next to you, untouched and cold.
You sighed feeling your heart crack, you rested your chin on your palm trying to stay optimistic.
Maybe he's just running a little late
