Now let's get one thing straight, you and Jughead have known each other for the longest time, since before you two even started school. You and Jughead weren't friends, you guys would pick and tease each other. It went from you stealing his beanie and running around the playground with it to Jughead pushing you down causing you to scrape your knee.

It continued in middle school too, you met new friends such as Archie Andrews, Kevin Keller, and Cheryl Blossom. Sometimes when you would hang out with Archie, he would bring Jughead along. You knew that they were good friends and you didn't want to ruin that, so you would just ignore Jughead and talk to Archie. Archie never understood the tension between you and Jughead but he tended to ignore it considering he's clueless most of the time.

When Archie asked you out in the 7th grade, Jughead lost it. He ignored Archie and tended to avoid him, Archie didn't understand and neither did you. But the truth was, that Jughead has always been head over heels for you since you met. Of course, when you guys were like 4, he didn't know how to express his feelings towards you so he was just plain mean.

When Jughead finally started talking to Archie again, they had a sleepover at his house. The both of them acted like they were asleep when Fred came in to say goodnight, but as soon as Fred's head hit the pillow, the both of them would bounce up.

"So, why did you decide to finally start talking to me again?" Archie started while setting up a board game for them,

"Because I think I'm breaking the 'bro code.'" Jughead responded taking his beanie into his hands,

Archie looked up raising an eyebrow indicating that Jughead should continue,

"I-I like Y/N.. I have since around kindergarten." Jughead mumbled squeezing his eyes shut,

Archie chuckled shaking his head, "Hey man, if you weren't ignoring me you would've known that she broke up with me. She thought we'd be better as friends and I honestly agree with her."

Jughead opened his eyes feelings like a complete and utter idiot, "Are you actually kidding me."

Archie's chuckles started to get louder, he found it amusing when Jughead was wrong or mad. Jughead's ego sometimes got the better for him so he would always assume that he was right when sometimes he was even wrong. Jughead shook his head again groaning that he didn't know earlier.

"I just don't understand though Jug, I thought you hated her?" Archie asked,

Jughead shrugged looking down, he loved the way you smiled, the way there would never be a hair out of place on you, and how you were able to light up a room with happiness.
