Your heart monitor went off, one beep after another. You don't know how they found you, you were nearly five-hundred miles away yet Riverdale managed to find you. It's been so long, yet they found you.

Cassidy was asleep next to you, Ryan sat on the floor in your hospital room watching Saturday morning cartoons munching on dry cereal. It was their first time seeing you in a long time too, your father just gave them a vague answer that you were in a better place.

Your mother on the other hand? Mental hospital, after you left she forced herself there. You were happy that she was getting help but you couldn't forgive her just yet. Bit by bit, your life was finally falling back into place. But it was missing something, something important.

A knock at the door, your dull eyes darted towards the door. Your father opened the door, his body blocking whoever the visitor was. Murmurs were exchanged, your father exchanged a hug with the visitor. You recognized the denim jacket.

Denim Jacket.

That same denim jacket that was lended to you when it was raining, that same denim jacket that you cried into, that same denim jacket that the boy you were in love with lived in. Your heart pounded out of your chest, Ryan stood up and walked towards the door blocking it some more. A small gasp escaped from his lips,

"You!"

Your body flew up out of the lying position you were in, your eyes glasses over with bittersweet droplets of water.

The voice, the gentle, deep voice.

"Ry! Been taking care of your sister for me?"

Your fists clenched the blanket of your bed, your father picking up Ryan and toddling Cassidy who was making her way towards the door. He looked back at you smiling before leaving the room, letting the familiar boy enter, the door shutting behind him.

Jughead Jones.

The soft smile sat on his pale freckled skin, his dark raven curly locks bouncing as he raced towards you not minding the his traditional beanie fell on the carpeted floor.

Tears flooded your eyes, trickling down your face. His arms wrapped around your fragile body radiating love.

"Y/N/N.." He whispered, "I thought I l-lost you."

You hugged him back, wiping your eyes smiling softly, "I'm right here my love."

Jughead's breathing hitched, his green eyes opening releasing more tears. His eyes scanned the dull white room, somehow you just made it brighter for him. Vinyls day on the floor next to your bed, you had a few photos on the side table, it made his heart warm knowing you somehow managed to make to room just like you.

You pulled away from his slightly, his arms not leaving the embrace. Your soft fingers gently wiping the tears from his eyes, you smiled a little more resting your forehead against his. He rested his forehead on your shoulder allowing more tears to escape his eyes, you ran your fingers through his dark curls.

That missing piece? It was sitting in your arms right now.

You didn't notice that the door was open, with a few more visitors, the classic redhead who was always your presentation buddy, your favorite blonde who you'd have movie nights with, and someone new who you haven't yet met.

"I see you haven't ditched the football look Andrews." You giggled continuing to comb your fingers through Jug's hair,

Archie chuckled, "Never thought I'd see you again Y/N."

You snickered, "I guess your wish didn't come true."

Jughead sighed picking up his head, "I guess I should let them see you."

You smiled releasing him from your grip, Archie soon enough hugging you.

Your eyebrows raised, "Guessing you didn't ditch the axe though."

Archie rolled his eyes pulling away sitting next to Jug, Betty rubbed her neck smiling slightly, "It's been awhile."

You nodded, "A long while."

Betty dropped her bag on the floor practically pulling you into a bone crushing hug, "I've missed you so much, it's not fun having to watch movies with Arch, he doesn't know when to shut up."

Archie muttered a 'hey,' you laughed feeling tears reach the brim of your eyes again. Your friends, your family, finally getting to see them again? Wish come true.

An unfamiliar girl stood at the closed door, a warm smile danced onto her tanned face, "Hi, I'm Veronica. I've heard lots about you."

You ran a hand through your hair, "I'm Y/N, didn't imagine meeting me in a hospital bed did you?"

Veronica laughed gently, "Not at all, yet you're still glowing."

It felt like you've known Veronica for years, all five of you were able to talk as if you haven't been there for the longest time. Betty, Veronica, and Archie agreed to get Pop's and come back with it for the five of you plus Cassidy, Ryan, and your father.

While waiting Jughead lied down in your bed, your arms wrapped around his torso playing with the hem of his shirt. Neither of you paying attention to the Christmas movie that played on the TV. His beanie crowned on your head, his hands traveled to yours locking them.

"I've missed you so much." Jughead whispered into the beanie that sat in your head,

You squeezed his hand gently, "I've missed you a lot Juggie, but I'm here now and I don't plan on going anywhere."

You were able to feel his smile through the beanie, "I love you so much, you know that right? I want you to get better."

You nodded, "I love you back, I'll get better I promise."

You gently took his hand pressing your lips to it, "I promise."
