You were Cole's girlfriend, you'd think dating a celebrity his fans would know about your relationship and even support it. Just not in this case, it was complicated.

Cole was filming Riverdale, Riverdale is probably most famous for it's classic Bughead ship along with Varchie, and Choni. Obviously the show needs as much publicity as they can get, Sprousehart was another popular ship that could potentially mess up your relationship with Cole.

Sure, you were starting to get used to seeing Lili and Cole act cute in public due to the fact that they needed to show off their relationship. It was nothing more than smiling at eachother and just holding hands. You knew that this was Cole's job but at the same time, it still hurt.

It was getting harder and harder everyday for you though, you loved Cole and you could trust him with anything. You opened up to Cole about your anxiety and your parents spiliting. He was always there for you, he was your rock and always had your back. You just saw how touchy Lili and Cole we're getting and it was starting to mess with your head.

It started messing with you at Comic con, the cast gladly let you tag along with them so you can spend time with your "friend" Cole. The cast only knew you because of you being Cole's photographer, you often took pictures of him for your page and even magazines sometimes. The cast just assumed you guys were best friends and they saw nothing weird with it.

This week was when your anxiety wasn't being the best. Being in crowded places was getting to you more, you got anxious whenever someone got close to you, it was just piling on top of eachother.

Cole was too preoccupied with making Sprousehart moments with Lili. They sat on the couch, acting as if they didn't feel each other's hands touch but everyone in that room was able to see it. Madelaine smirked at it, Casey's jaw dropped, it was obvious to everyone in that damn room. You just kept your head down not saying a word to anyone.

You loved Lili, she was a great friend to you and was even able to help you with your anxiety. She was able to relate to you due to mental health, she's even suggested certain medication that helped her in the past. You guys clicked when you first met but she's even been off lately.

The cast plus you were waking to your next destination, Cole peered over his shoulder at you. Your head hung low and you avoided eye contact with anybody. KJ attempted to crack some jokes to break the tension between you and Cole, it worked for a bit until you weren't feeling well.

"Y/N/N, you alright?" Cole whispered so only you could hear it,

You nodded fidgeting with your hoodie string, "Just anxious, I'll be fine."

Cole looked at you for a few before agreeing that you were fine, he turned back to the group joining the conversation. Meanwhile you isolated yourself trying to calm yourself, you felt a gaze on your back but you shrugged it off. A tan hand was placed on your shoulder, you flinched turning your head seeing Jordan with a confused expression,

"Are you okay?" He asked stopping you from walking,

You shook your head feeling your chest drop, "I-I'm not, I can barely breathe. But I-I'll be fine."

Afterwards Jordan gave you a water bottle and reassured you that you were fine. You felt Cole turn around and look at the two of you but you ignored him.

The night was over, you joined Cole in your guys' hotel room picking at take out that you got at the last minute.

Cole sat next to you running his fingers through his damp hair, you looked up looking just as tired as you did earlier,

"Hey, talk to me, obviously somethings wrong." Cole spoke placing a hand on your shoulder,

"Like I said earlier, I'm fine." You mustered to get out of you,

"Yeah and pigs can fly right? Please Y/N, I'm worried about you." Cole mumbled looking into your eyes,

You finally bursted, all your feelings about the publicity stunts were falling from your mouth. You ranted about how you felt like you were getting zero attention from him.

"Y/N/N, why didn't you just tell me?" Cole mumbled wrapping his arms around you,

"I-I thought you'd get mad and I didn't want to seem clingy." You whispered into his chest,

Cole sighed pulling you closer, "I'm so sorry."

You shrugged resting your chin on his shoulder, "It's not your fault."

Cole let out an awkward laugh looking away from you, "Yeah.."

Cole got up and went back into the bathroom to change, his phone buzzed and you subconsciously looked over, it was from Lili?

Lili 💕: Are we still on for tonight?

Lili💕: Have you still not told Y/N about us? We can't keep doing this Cole, it's going to break her eventually.

You felt tears well up in your eyes, 'it's going to break her eventually?' What was that supposed to mean? You wiped your eyes moving your food tray aside, You zipped up your suitcase with your belongings pulling on your converse.

Cole opened the door of the bathroom looking at you, "Where are you going?"

"Home." You responded nonchantly picking up your car keys,

Cole raised an eyebrow confused, "Wait why?"

You glared at him not daring to shed another tear, "Because you and Lili obviously have something better to do tonight? Cut the crap Cole, I'm sick of this."

"Y-You saw?" He stammered, guilt and sadness washed onto his face,

You nodded crossing your arms, "Yeah, I did."

Cole felt his heart drop in that very moment, he knew he didn't want Lili, "I-It meant nothing to me Y/N/N, I swear, I love you."

You scoffed laughing a bit, "Cole, if you truly did love me you would have never but yourself in a place to potentially loose me. Cheating isn't a choice! Once you give yourself to someone else that isn't your significant other you're no longer mine."

Cole went silent, he stared at the carpeted floor. Not a word left his mouth, he was mute.

"Goodbye Cole."

You turned on your heel leaving the hotel room, to never look back.
